Saw Pitch Black booster boxes sitting, so I decided to grab one…
No exaggeration, this was the 3rd pack I’ve ever opened from Pitch Black.
Pulled THE hit 😆🔥
Imagine a Pokémon game where you join Team Rocket… 🚀
Giovanni offers you three starters:
🟣 Nidoran♂
🥊 Machop
🌱 Bellsprout
This time, you’re playing the villain.
Who are you choosing? 👀
Pokémon master sets deserve more than just a checklist… 👀
So I’ve been building SetDex.io! 🧙🏼♂️
Binder View, custom binder building, and achievement trackers to help prioritize your collecting goals are now live.
Still in beta, with more collector-friendly tracking features and price tracking on the way!
Free to sign up — would love your feedback!
I knew Gym Challenge had great artwork… but seeing it laid out in Pokédex order is something else. 👀
My only complaint? They left out the ENTIRE Squirtle evolution line. 😭
Sorry to the set-number-order crowd… but there’s no going back for me. 😂
Looking for a new way to track your collection, switch binder views, or build your own custom binder pages? 👀
I’ve been building exactly that over at SetDex.io 🧙🏼♂️
Some of the most underrated Neo-era artwork isn’t even on just the holos…
Picked up these four for the binder.
Just buy vintage.
While everyone’s watching the same chase cards…
I picked these up for around $10 or less each earlier this year.
Now look at them. 👀
Pokémon cards are still climbing. Just not always the ones everyone’s watching.

Built a Mimikyu spooky page with Setdex.io the other day! Really awesome site to dream up new pages with 😍

Anyone else really want to complete a master set… but keep getting distracted buying cards you don’t even need? 😭
Picked up some vintage today and actually made progress on my sets.
The achievement list I made might actually be working. 😂
BTW guys, this post took a lot of guts for me
Slightly ashamed to say I don’t have base set complete yet
But SetDex.io will keep me on track until it is
Turns out this childhood red binder had a full gen one pokedex but not enough for one master set
Also I threw out all trainer cards when I was a kid… so here we are in 2026 searching for vintage trainer cards 😭

151 and Stellar Crown might be the PERFECT way to start a Pokédex binder…
But a guy like me HAS to mix some vintage in there. 😂
Are you keeping the matching evolution lines or mixing eras? 👀

Finally getting my vintage master sets into nice Vault X binders. 🔥
Also, I HIGHLY recommend their soft sleeves.
Something about them makes the card look HD, and the reduced glare makes the holos pop even more.

Ever think about what your dream Charizard binder page would look like? 👀
I decided to build a mobile-friendly way to plan, organize, and save binder layouts.
Now I’m sitting here building an entire Charizard binder. 😂
