"Before Jay-Z was in charge, we had nothing but old 70's ROCK performers doing the halftime show...often times people take Black fans for granted!" 😮

Fun fact:
Last night’s announcement was yet another big anniversary and full circle moment for Jay-Z.
20 years ago, October 2006, he officially premiered the video for “Show Me What You Got” at halftime on Monday Night Football on ESPN.
This was his first official single post-retirement and the lead single to “Kingdom Come.”
It also served as the introduction of Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades).
20 years later, also at halftime on Monday Night Football on ESPN he was announced as the headliner to next year’s Super Bowl.
I don’t believe that any of these things are coincidental. This entire #JAŸZ30 celebration has been well calculated.

This killer cop was spared a perp walk upon arrest; was given time to scrub his social media accounts, prepare a defense strategy, and shuffle around assets; and had his name and photo kept out of the press for weeks. Throw every book at him.
For the first time, we're getting a look at former NYPD detective Victor Romero as he walks into court in the fatal George Washington Bridge shooting case. Romero is accused in the death of Koran Irvine. 7ny.tv/29ELN5

End the war on Black America. Justice for Koran Irvine.
Koran Irvine was a Black union worker, a father of two, and one of the workers New York simply can’t live without. On a Tuesday night, after a 12-hour shift keeping the lights on in our city, he was driving home to his family across the George Washington Bridge. He never made it home.
Victor Romero, a retired NYPD detective, gunned Koran down in an act of senseless, road-rage-induced violence.
As a fellow Black union worker and father, I am outraged, but I am not surprised. We live in a system that does not value Black lives. I stand with Koran’s widow, Patricia Irvine, in demanding justice.
After Romero was released on bail, Patricia Irvine asked the questions we should all be asking: “And with my good man, best friend and partner gone, the man who killed him is free. And why? Because the Manhattan District Attorney thought he deserved to be free? Because Judge Kevin McGrath thought he deserved to be free? Or because his killer has billionaire friends? Or is it because a good, hard working Black man’s life does not matter.”
The whole system is guilty. Now is the time to organize for a future where Black people can grow old in dignity, free from the threat of racist violence, and where current and former police officers can no longer kill with impunity. A future where we, not billionaires, hold the power to decide what our lives are worth.

30 years ago today, a dynasty was born.
Joe Girardi's RBI triple ignited the 1996 Yankees in Game 6 as they'd win the clincher 3-2.
The Yankees would proceed to win three more titles in the next four seasons, we may never see a run like this in MLB again.
"From Marcy to" the Super Bowl, A Brooklyn Boy has had arguably the Greatest Career for a Rapper or Musician.
The Homie from Marcy has been fighting Ghosts up to this point and has been for quite sometime now. Far as I'm concerned, he has NO PEERS alive. "EXCLUDING NOBODY!!" Love or Hate him, his legacy is cemented.
"All Offense". From earlier this year to now and February, this is how you celebrate a Historical 30 year career.
#JAYZ30 has been everything that a JAŸ-Z fan has wanted from The God MC who was'nt as active and battled a lot of things in his personal life.
This is how you respond. Interviews, Festivals, Stadium Tours, a Documentary... (An Album?🤞🏾) and now Sports Biggest Stage. At the end of the day, it is all about The Music. Everything else is a bonus.
At this point, to discredit what JAŸ-Z has done in 3 decades is asinine.
Cheers to The 🐐 🙌🏾🍾🥂 @sc @TheRocSupremacy @RocNation

The best part about JAY-Z constantly winning is the fact there’s a small section online that HATES to see it 🤣
You can’t wish for someone’s downfall & hope they get cancelled every day & then be indifferent or unbothered when they win. That’s just not how it works 🤣.
