GARNETT SIGNS
We are delighted to welcome Evan Garnett back to Belper Town.
Evan can boast 52 goals in the last two seasons for Long Eaton, winning the NPL Midlands Golden Boot last season.
Having worked with Evan before and kept in regular contact over five years, Lee worked relentlessly to bring him here.
A local lad, he previously scored 32 goals in 91 appearances for Belper and returns as a different type of striker, with an impressive goalscoring record.
Welcome back, Evan!!
Real goalscorer but far far more than just that!
Been class since the day you stepped through the door and earned all the accolades!
Someone isn’t just getting a 9 but the BEST 9 in town 🤝🏽
My Number 9 ❤️🔵⚫️

You deserve all the respect in the world my mate 🤝🏽👊🏽 proper person, unbelievable goalkeeper & a left foot Robben would try to nick 😂
Unfortunately my time at @LongEatonUnited has come to an end… proud of what we achieved in my time there and captaining the club but it’s time to move on and see what’s next! I’m ready for the next opportunity, wherever that may be… if anyone wants a GK give me a shout 🙌🏻🧤
Over and out ❤️🤝🏽
Thank you for everything but the time was certainly right. The club need a kickstart again & truly believe they’ve saved me from myself with the stress I’ve put on myself for a long time.
Thank you to all Involved & most importantly my players during ❤️🔵⚫️

LONG EATON UNITED AND BRAD MUNN PART WAYS.
Long Eaton United Football Club can confirm that first-team manager Brad Munn has left the club by mutual consent, bringing to an end more than three years in charge at Grange Park.
Brad arrived in August 2023 as joint manager alongside Lewis McGugan, ahead of the club’s first-ever season at Step 3, having previously spent time at Loughborough Dynamo. He took sole charge in November 2023 and steered the side through a demanding campaign in the Southern League Premier Division Central, before rebuilding over the past two seasons in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, where the Blues finished 5th and 10th respectively.
Over his tenure, Brad oversaw more than 150 matches and, alongside assistant manager Aaron Cole and coach Nick Fairbrother, became a hugely popular figure with staff, players and supporters alike.
Everyone at Long Eaton United thanks Brad for his service and wishes him every success in the future.
Chairman Nick Dargan said: “On behalf of everyone at Long Eaton United, I want to thank Brad and his management team for their commitment, energy and loyalty over the last three years. They took on the job in difficult circumstances and gave everything for the club. They leave with our gratitude and best wishes, and will always be welcome at Grange Park.”
Proper person and not many of them about in football!

Top man Chris and no one who came to watch that last night can’t say they didn’t get value for money watching both sides! Good people and look forward to seeing you all later in the season 🤝🏽
Tweet when you lose too. Congratulations to @Bmunn93 and his @LongEatonUnited side who put us to the sword last night, particularly first half.
We were much improved second half and if the game had finished 8-6, nobody would have complained. Can’t keep giving ourselves a mountain to climb.
Thanks to those that travelled. Onto Saturday!

2 very different halves of football, slow, laboured and second best first half. Second half full of life and forcing unbelievable saves from KP in their goal!
