There’s a difference between disagreeing with someone and arguing with them, especially on social media.
Disagreement says, “I see it differently.”
Arguing says, “I need to prove you wrong.”
Two people can have completely different opinions, explain why, challenge each other, and still walk away with respect.
Not every disagreement needs a winner. Not every opinion needs a response. And not everyone who sees the world differently is your enemy.

My dad wrote this just a few weeks before he passed away in 2018.
He was riddled with cancer. He knew his time was short. He knew what was coming.
And yet, this is what he chose to say:
“Don’t let your circumstances rob you of your joy. You can find joy in the most trying times if you look.”
I’ve read those words differently over the years, but the older I get, the heavier they hit.
This wasn’t advice from someone sitting comfortably on the other side of hardship. This was a man staring death in the face, reminding the rest of us that our circumstances don’t get to decide whether we have joy.
Dad wasn’t telling us life wouldn’t hurt. He was showing us that even when it does, there is still something worth being grateful for, something worth holding onto, something worth smiling about.
Eight years later, I’m still learning from him.
I miss you, Dad. And I’m still looking for the joy.

In my 47 years on the Lord's earth I have learned that there are four types of Razorback fans:
1. The Eternal Optimist - You can't tell them shit. They are gonna tell you every year that this is the year.
2. The Burn-It-Down Fan - One three and out and they are ready to fire the coaches, the AD, the strength staff, the guy running the scoreboard, and maybe even BBQ Tusk.
3. The Historian - These folks live in 1964, 2006, 2011-2012. They have 40 plus years of collective trauma and truly should be psychologically studied and possibly medicated.
4. The Battered Hog - These folks are broken human beings. Won't predict the game score, Doesn't trust a double digit lead, won't celebrate a win even after the clock has run out. They have seen too much. Knows too much. But they still show up Saturday after Saturday.
And somehow, after all the heartbreak, all four still call the Hogs. #WOODAMNPIG #WhichOneAreYou

Are you sick of the way big-time college football has been handled lately.? Do you feel like somewhere along the way, we’ve lost a little bit of what made college football special in the first place?
Here’s an idea: go support your local Division III program.
Buy a ticket. Sit in the stands. Cheer for those young men.
You’ll see great football played by athletes who practice all week, go to class, lift, study, travel, and suit up on Saturday because they genuinely love the game.
No massive TV contracts. No transfer portal circus. No chasing the biggest NIL deal.
Just teammates, coaches, families, communities, and young men playing football because football means something to them.
There’s still something pure about college football.
You might just find it on a Division III field on Saturday afternoon.

One of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn:
Not everything is about you.
Sometimes the anger, distance, criticism, or disrespect coming your way has more to do with the battle happening inside someone else.
Stop carrying wars you were never meant to fight.
Protect your peace. Let people fight their own battles.

Leadership isn’t lonely because you’re surrounded by fewer people.
It’s lonely because you’re carrying decisions, pressure, and responsibility that most people never see.
Not everyone will understand the weight of leading. That’s okay.
Lead anyway.
Stay humble.
Protect your integrity.
And remember why you started.
The calling is bigger than the loneliness.

Every man needs three friends in his life:
1. The Truth Teller - He’s that friend who will tell you the truth on all things and hold you accountable. He will call you out on your BS every time.
2. The Confidant - He’s the guy you can tell everything to, no matter what. He will protect the information, keep it safe, and counsel you.
3. The Ride or Die - That’s the guy you can call at 3 am, and he will show up with plastic, a shovel, and ask no questions. He shows up no matter what.
Cherish these friends and be there for them just as they are for you. But if you find one man that can be all three - that’s a real one.
Which one are you?

Most people settle for fitting in.
Satchel Paige said it best:
“Ain’t no man can avoid being born average, but there ain’t no man got to be common.”
You don’t have to be the most talented.
You don’t have to have the perfect start.
Just refuse to be common.
Show up.
Do the work.
Be consistent.
That’s where uncommon lives.

As a parent, this one hits differently.
The early mornings. The late nights. The rides to practice. The bumps, bruises, and sacrifices that nobody sees. Every rep has led to this moment.
Watching your kid chase something they love is one of life’s greatest privileges. No matter what this season brings, I’m already proud of the young man you’ve become. Play fast. Play fearless. Play for the name on the front, and never forget the people who will always be cheering for the name on the back.
Go be great, @BoMosley2006

Some scars are invisible.
The strongest people you know may be carrying battles they’ve never told anyone about.
Be kind.
Check on your people.
And if you’re the one carrying wounds no one sees, you don’t have to carry them alone.
Let’s Gooooo‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Yesterday my therapist said something that has stuck itself in my brain:
“Water has no effect on fake flowers.”
Growth only happens in what’s real.
You can pour your time, energy, love, and effort into people who only look alive on the outside, and nothing changes. No roots. No growth. No fruit.
The lesson isn’t to stop watering.
It’s to be intentional about where you pour.
Find the people, the relationships, and the purpose that are alive enough to grow from what you give.
Those are the places where your investment will bloom.

I miss when tomorrow sounded bigger.
When the future felt wide open.
When another year felt like forever instead of another page turning too fast.
Maybe that’s part of getting older.
Or maybe it’s just a reminder that tomorrow was never promised.
So call the people you love.
Take the trip.
Start the business.
Say the words you’ve been holding back.
Because one day, “I’ll do it tomorrow” quietly becomes “I wish I had.”

Before I ever understood the words, I felt them.
There is one gospel song that speaks to me every single time I hear it: “The Midnight Cry” by Gold City.
No matter how many years pass, it takes me right back to the first time I heard it. The harmonies. The message. The reminder that one day the struggles, the pain, and the waiting will all give way to hope fulfilled.
Some songs entertain us.
Others become part of our story.
“The Midnight Cry” has been part of mine.
What’s the one song that instantly takes you back and reminds you of what really matters?

Some wounds don’t disappear.
You can’t erase the pain of the past.
But you don’t have to let it write the rest of your story.
Healing doesn’t change what happened.
It changes what happens next.
If you’re still carrying something from yesterday, you’re not alone. ❤️

I needed this reminder more than I needed another hour of scrolling.
Peace doesn’t come from finding the next distraction.
It comes from fixing my mind on the One who never changes.
Maybe that’s why I’ve kept coming back to Isaiah 26:3.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
If you’ve been carrying anxiety, fear, or uncertainty today, this verse is for you.
Trust first. Peace follows.

Some of us are praying for answers.
Some are praying for healing.
Some are just trying to make it through today.
Then this verse quietly reminds us:
God already knows the plans.
Not because life will always be easy, but because His purpose is greater than our uncertainty.
If you’re waiting on what’s next, don’t lose hope.
The Author of your story is still writing. ❤️🙏

You can’t erase the pain of the past.
No amount of wishing, replaying, or wondering “what if” will change what already happened.
But you don’t have to keep reliving it either.
The past may have left scars, but scars don’t have to become your identity.
Healing isn’t pretending it never happened.
Healing is learning that what broke you doesn’t have to define you.
You can’t rewrite yesterday.
But with God’s help, you can write a different tomorrow.
