You probably knew about querying dates in ActiveRecord using a Range, but did you know about the Rails `all_month` helper? 💅

I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X. I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next. If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!

This tweet, while an obvious joke, was stolen from a different account and edited slightly to appear as if it were the author’s own attempt at humor. The original poster directly addresses the act. twitter.com/anothercohen/s…

🔥 Rails Protip: Rails 7 introduced "excluding" which lets you remove item(s) from a SQL query. You could always do this before, but it reads much, much better. These improvements are why Rails is such a fantastic framework. ❤️

Sure, sex is good, but have you ever built a working dynamic Rails form with accepts_nested_attributes?

🔥✨ I made $6,835 with just a gif image and a @lemonsqueezy link. That's 7-figure in where I live.🤩🚀 I had the idea morning and showed Twitter what the app does with a gif image by night. No domain. No website. No big plans. We are living in a wild time. 🥰

Listen to the analysis of the 'Sparks of AGI' multisource research paper on this Youtube: youtu.be/Mqg3aTGNxZ0. It is truly jaw-dropping, on top of everything else up to and including every other announcement. This is the shape of things to come, and no one is ready.

Honestly, I use it to have in-depth conversations with classic literature and speak to the authors of said works. It helps to give me perspective and dream a little bigger. But primarily - it gives me the right signals on where to focus my energy. I still need to (and appreciate) sitting down with a good book and also spending time just laying around passively thinking (which I 100% see as a learned skill). Anyway, long story long. I've found that chatGPT has been the most wonderful in helping me come up with ridiculous stuff and just thinking deeper but the most important take away is - have fun!
