Business isn't this simple sadly. If you're already at production capacity of 92% you can't just magic up 10% If you need to sell extra lies you may then incur further transportation costs e.g an ad hoc truck. Not a formal agreement You're not just covering the wages
His cheapest pie is £4.95. Selling 20,000 would generate £99,000 revenue. He employs 39 people. Assuming they are all on minimum wage and work 40 hours weeks. The 50p increase costs his £780 in wages. With 15% employers national insurance that is £897 per week.

In business you can NOT simply go. Oh my wages go up by x. Therefore I sell x more pies Those X more pies come with increased costs You may be utilising overtime instead of taking on 3 extra employees

If you have a delivery agreement for 5 trucks each day You might get that at £1000 a day. Then to sell an extra 200 pies a day You ad-hoc hire another delivery company 1 truck £300. That's a 50% cost uplift on your other provider

The last Tory parliament was the worst on record for stagnant living standards. Hold my beer, says this Labour Parliament. We’re on track to be even worse. Source: OBR

fees like lots of fiddling, short-term things, new complications - a 'young entrepreneurs allowance', 'starter ISA', different business rates exemption threshold for retail, leisure & hospitality ... etc . I don't hear a clear, coherent vision or a simplification of tax system

🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

Imagine saying this while spouting rejoin where guess what. They only want us for our money
It is time to admit that the Commonwealth does not only not serve its purpose, but works against its premise of post-imperial comity. This is because it has become a little more than a poorly attended biannual summit whose only purpose seems to be to for Caribbean countries to lobby Britain for reparations. This does nothing but worsen these relationships. My view was Botchwey was the last chance to try and pull the organisation back from this dead end but this had clearly failed. CHOGM is going ahead without any major reforms to its structure or meaningful agenda, resented by those in government involved in it as a result. It is now only a matter of time before Prime Ministers stop attending our next King cuts the cord and eventually a new CANZUK-type summit or body is pursued.

If this is true. The state has a problem It absolutely needs to throw the full foreceof the law at ITV. You simply can not do this. If they choose not to process this evidence and simply give slapped wrists. Reform will have proven the state is doing everything to stop them
STATEMENT: Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police. Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison. They forged a passport. They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes. They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”. This is unprecedented. The police are now involved. Scrutiny of political parties is one thing. But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts. Here’s what happened 👇

Shelagh Fogarty has a problem with a Reform UK councillor saying that he would execute grooming gangs culprits. The same Shelagh Fogarty who wanted to execute people who stormed the US Capitol. 🙃
“I shouldn’t laugh, but it’s that ridiculous.” @ShelaghFogarty reacts to the comments made by Reform councillors saying they would hold public executions in the Downing Street rose garden.

Why is ITV promoting Reform?
🚨NEW: In ITV's undercover investigation, a Reform UK councillor in West London said that he would "quite happily" personally execute grooming gang members in the garden of 10 Downing Street "without f*cking thinking for a second about it"

The EU placed quotas on British sugar beet. What changed was the U.K. having 8 factories around the country going down to 1 in East Anglia. That didn’t mean one plant was producing the volume of sugar of 8 it meant farms unable to continue growing beet. Can you see the problem?
We can’t afford this hard right fantasy any longer.

🚨🚨 A Labour councillor for Telford has been arrested on suspicion of downloading indecent images and has been suspended by the local Labour Party. 📣 Just waiting for ITV, BBC and Channel 4 to do a documentary on the many Labour councillors who have an obsession with paedophilia.

This buffoon still believes they're fleeing regimes determined to murder them 😂
Reform have announced a policy of delivering genuine asylum seekers back into the hands of the regimes seeking to murder and torture them. And it’s still not the maddest thing they’ve announced today.

The granting of government funding at an unknown interest rate to adug who clearly were back by a foreign gov and didn't need the liquidity injection
Can someone please explain to me what they think the great Andy Burnham/Man City scandal is. What is it that is going to emerge.
