The West spent decades condemning apartheid. In 1985, the apartheid government itself rejected a plan to move black people even 50 kilometres to their own homelands. The reason given was humanitarian and economic. Deportation was considered too extreme. Today the fastest-growing parties in Europe are openly calling for the deportation of millions — including, in some proposals, people born in Europe — back to Africa and the Middle East. The West is starting to understand what it spent decades condemning. youtu.be/VNazbIXj-Mc?si=tTOY…

The two assertions which destroy atheism: 1) atheism is not true 2) atheism is horrifically evil Both of these assertions demolished the evil ideology that is atheism!

On Friday 1 June 2001, around 8 am, farmer Jannie Visser (40) and one of his farm workers walked out of the farmhouse on Kleinveld in the Koue Bokkeveld near Ceres/Op-die-Berg in the Western Cape to check a fire burning roughly 100 metres away. Three men were waiting. One of them opened fire and shot Jannie in the chest. He dropped where he stood and died on the spot. The worker bolted and ran about four kilometres to the nearest farmhouse for help. When police arrived at the house, they found his wife, Annelize Visser (33) dead. She had been hiding behind a bedroom door when she was shot in the head. The attackers took nothing. The couple’s three children (aged 8, 11 and 13) were at school. Community members, police and the air force launched a search. Late that afternoon three men, Parlement Ngulube, Elliot Samela and Mpisa Kroze, were arrested. An Uzi sub-machinegun, a Luger pistol and a rifle believed to have been used in the attack were recovered, hidden under a rock. Minister Thoko Didiza attended the funeral and called for the killers to be “dealt with harshly,” claiming the quick arrests showed the rural safety plan was working. (If it was working, no-one would be dead). The usual empty words while another White farming couple was executed and their children orphaned.

Former President Thabo Mbeki has just admitted in his testimony before the Khampepe Commission that he and other ANC leaders applied for amnesty for “having taken the policy and programmatic decisions which might ultimately have resulted in cadres in the more junior ranks engaging in actions which amounted to gross violation of human rights.” Their applications for amnesty were denied. @afriforum wants Mbeki to answer allegations that he intervened politically to prevent himself and other ANC leaders from being prosecuted for a landmine attack on civilians that resulted in the deaths of Dirk van Eck’s wife, Kobie, and their two young children, Nelmarie (8) and Nasie (2), in December 1985. The family of the Cradock Four has also accused Mbeki of political interference aimed at preventing prosecutions in their case. Dirk van Eck gave AfriForum a mandate in 2007 to pursue justice and ensure that the ANC leaders who took the decision at Kabwe in June 1985 to target civilians are also held accountable if prosecutions proceed.

Absolutely disgraceful. How the hell is it acceptable in 2026 to exclude South African citizens from opportunities simply because they’re white? We’ve spent decades being told that discrimination based on race is wrong. Apparently that principle only applies when it’s politically convenient. Racism is racism, regardless of who’s doing it.
Media Statement | 18 October 2026   South Africa’s race-based farmland leases strengthen the case of minority persecution   Pretoria – The think tank and advocacy group, Lex Libertas, is preparing a report on the destructive race-based exclusion in state land policy, and will request a meeting with the Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development tomorrow. This follows the department's advertisements barring white people from leasing state farmland, whatever their skill.   According to Lex Libertas, the policy strengthens the argument that South Africa is undergoing minority persecution.   The department's 2026 advertisements for state farms in Mpumalanga and the Western Cape, among others, list as their first eligibility criterion that 'Applicants must be Africans, Indians, and Coloureds who are South African citizens.' White applicants are excluded regardless of their farming experience or ability. These advertisements come as President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on 12 October that the government is releasing about 2.5 million hectares of state-owned land to black farmers.   'These are the state's own documents. Nobody had to interpret or leak them,' said Dr Ernst Roets, Executive Director of Lex Libertas. 'When the state holds millions of hectares of farmland and decides by skin colour who may farm it, that is not an isolated mistake. It fits a pattern of laws and policies that single out minorities, and it strengthens the argument that minority persecution is taking place in South Africa.'   'Government policy should be economically viable, and should contribute to growth and prosperity,' Roets said. 'Food security and rural jobs depend on that, and so does the basic principle of equality before the law.'   Lex Libertas will use the report to engage the minister and, if needs be, to continue its local and international campaigns.   - Lex Libertas is a think tank and advocacy group working towards a viable political dispensation in South Africa, based on the principles of freedom, decentralisation, and self-governance.   To join the Lex Libertas media mailing list, contact: [email protected].    Statement issued by: Dr Ernst Roets Executive Director Lex Libertas
