Trump has governed with near unchecked power for two years. In the span of just a few hours Tuesday, his reality shifted dramatically. on.wsj.com/4ekC8Dh

Did I just hear the WH press briefing question correctly? $2.7 TRILLION in improper Medicare/Medicaid payments to people overseas who weren’t entitled to the benefit?
This cannot be real.
The entire national debt is ~$36T, and you’re telling me that you sent checks for $2.7T to people overseas??
I am telling you right now, by the time we’re done with these audits, we will find at least $36T worth of waste, fraud and abuse.
The entire national debt is waste, fraud and abuse.
The government already spends more than they bring in to the tune of $7T and that’s JUST the federal government.
Fix the fraud and systems, and there will be tons left over to feed kids. Instead it’s “no you must give more or you hate kids.”
“He threw it at her” - yeah she’s the fucking ref who needs the ball on an inbounds play.
@lukadoncic you are a dumb mother fucker.

Let me tell you something absolutely BONKERS from last night’s midterms…
Democrat Ericka Lomick just “won” Texas House District 93 despite being a convicted felon who suspended her campaign months ago.
She pleaded guilty in 2011 to federal charges including mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud, and money laundering. Her sentence? 63 months in federal prison.
On her candidate paperwork, she checked the box claiming she had not been finally convicted of a felony. After her criminal record surfaced in September, she suspended her campaign and stopped running.
But Texas election deadlines had already passed, so her name remained on the ballot for both the regular general election and the special election.
And voters still elected her by roughly 51–49%.
Here’s the kicker: Under Texas law, a final felony conviction generally makes someone ineligible to hold office unless they’ve been pardoned or had their disabilities released.
Meaning she can’t actually serve. Her “victory” simply creates a vacancy and triggers yet another special election.
A convicted federal fraudster who quit campaigning still got elected to the Texas House.
Let that absolutely sink in.

Let me get this straight.
Jobless claims just fell to 189,000, the lowest level since 1969. You have to go back 57 years to find a better number. We're now filing fewer unemployment claims in a normal week than we did in the single best week of 2019, before the pandemic.
The four-week average is down more than 13% from a year ago. People are working. The firing has basically stopped.
And groceries? Food inflation is running at 1.8%, below the 20-year average of 2.6%. Your grocery bill is climbing slower than it normally does.
So the labor market is the strongest in half a century and food is calmer than the 20-year norm.
And on Tuesday, voters turned around and punished the party in charge over the economy.
It's odd. You can put up the best jobs numbers since 1969 and still lose the room.

Democrats created the affordability crisis and successfully shifted the blame onto Republicans.

Texas turned blue because of the war, gas prices, the rising cost of living, and immigration.
By contrast, California has some of the highest gas prices, one of the highest costs of living, uncontrolled immigration and when Obama went to war in Syria, it never turned red.
This kind of disparity in voter behavior will doom America.

I had an experience last night that I think perfectly sums up our political moment…
I play basketball a couple times a week with a group of about 30 guys. I try really hard not to talk politics there…ball is life and my true escape…but one way or another it always comes up for a few minutes.
Last night though, to no surprise, everyone was talking about the election results. Pretty much all the guys I play with are conservatives or Republicans, or just people who love America and end up voting Republican. Basically just normal people.
There’s one liberal in the group. He was saying he hates how extreme both parties have become, but that Republicans are even worse, and we need more moderate, centrist options.
As we were warming up, I asked him: “Okay, what’s Donald Trump’s most extreme position?”
He paused and started talking about Trump’s attitude and tweets. I said, “No, what’s his most extreme *policy*?”
He said, “I’d have to get back to you,” and started walking away.
I kept poking at him a bit while we played. (Nothing like hardcore political trash talk, right?) And he didn’t have much to say. We set it aside and the friendship will live to see another day.
But the point is this: Trump, despite what they say, is actually a moderate. He’s a former Democrat, old-school liberal who governs sensibly, thus conservatively. He would have (and still would) negotiate with Democrats on almost anything. But all the Democrats want to do is destroy (and eventually jail) him.
If you think closing the border is extreme, fine. If you don’t like how ICE operates, say that. But picking up people who are here illegally isn’t extreme. You can dislike the methods without calling the basic idea far-right or racist.
I’ve seen this over and over: you ask people what Trump has actually done that’s extreme, far-right, or racist, and they usually can’t answer. They just scurry away.
The bigger issue now , especially after the results of midterms, is what comes *after* Trump on the right. A lot of people will say, “We tried it with the New York real estate guy who wanted to be liked and was willing to make a deal. It didn’t work. So now we go harder.”
Then we could end up with an actual extremist, and even the TDS inflicted liberals will be looking back on the Trump years as the good old days.
So if you know a confused liberal, this might be a good time to ask them to look in the mirror before it’s too late.
Pro Tip: They probably won’t listen to you, but then just hit a couple threes in their face and it’ll still be time well spent.

I was responding to a text earlier today. A good friend sent me this:
"High gas prices, high interest rates, inflation, quagmire in Iran. What did anyone expect was going to happen?
I’m not saying it’s right, I’m saying I’m not surprised. A lot of Trump dissatisfaction."
My Response:
Apparently Americans have abandoned logic. You see, when I get pissed off at a party that I fought to get into power only to have them NOT follow through on their promises, you know what I do? I try to kick the bastards out of power in the primaries.
What I DON'T do is hand the country back to the previous jackasses who:
1) Gave us higher gas prices than we have now
2) Gave us higher interest rates than we have now
3) Gave us higher inflation than we have now
4) Gave us the quagmire of Ukraine/Russia
5) Gave us the massacre in the Gaza Strip
6) Gave us open borders and 35+ million illegal, unvetted aliens/terrorists walking across our border
7) Drained our strategic oil reserve
8) Gave us DEI
9) Gave us lawfare like we've never seen in this country before
10) Gave us a flood of judges that won't follow the law 11 Gave Iran BILLIONS of dollars in cash so they could develop a nuclear bomb which was the entire REASON we are fighting in effing Iran right now
12) Gave us a shadow government behind a president who was nothing more than a dementia patient
13) Nominated for the Senate an America-hating Antisemitic, racist, Jihadist who supports and is supported by terrorists To name just a few.
Pardon my French, but if that is an example of the best f*cking logic this country can muster than we deserve the total destruction that we are now facing in the hands of people who HATE capitalism and HATE America.
What a total cluster frack. But here we are...

People need to burn this map into the back of their head.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is a 2016 pre-election hypothetical map by Ste Kinney-Fields (using FiveThirtyEight data), not actual results or current data. 2016 exit polls showed less extreme patterns; 2024 exit polls show Trump gains with Hispanic & Black men.

Retarded Republicans:
Trump only delivered on 16 of his 20 promises in his first 2 years, so to punish him for not reaching 20 of 20 is to hand control to the Party that actively fought against all 20.

✅ GDP grew 3.4% in Q3, beating forecasts and up from 2.2% in Q2
✅ The Atlanta Fed expects 3.4% growth again in Q4
✅ Business investment is up 9.4%, the biggest jump since 2020
✅ Consumer spending is up 3.8%
✅ Layoffs are near record lows, with weekly jobless claims at just 194,000
✅ Consumer confidence jumped 7.5 points in October
✅ Poverty has hit a record low
✅ Median income is the highest on record
✅ Citizens rather than non-citizens are getting more of the new jobs
✅ Mass immigration has stopped
✅ Violent crime posted its largest annual drop, and the murder rate is tying a multi-decade low
✅ Tax fraud, waste and abuse are ending
✅ MAHA is delivering real change, lower prices and fixing the system
Election integrity, tried hard pass The Save America Act. Only to be thwarted by RINOs.
🪙 Trump's Golden Age:
🏭 For the first time in 26 years, the U.S. outproduces Japan in steel
🏗️ The first new U.S. iron ore mine in 50 years, feeding a planned $15 billion Iowa steel mill
🔩 The first new primary aluminum smelter in 50 years, in Oklahoma, which will double U.S. primary capacity once online
🚜 The first U.S.-assembled Volvo excavators are rolling out of Pennsylvania, and John Deere is moving excavator production home
🌾 Potash was named a critical mineral, with a $1.26 billion DOE loan commitment for a new Michigan mine and a USDA-backed Utah project
🧲 Rare earth magnets at scale for the first time in a generation, with a $1.2 billion South Carolina plant breaking ground
💎 Critical minerals reshored, ending 100% import dependence on 15 strategic minerals
🖥️ The first ever complete AI chip supply chain
📈 Manufacturing construction starts are up 20.2%
🔧 Machine-tool orders are up about 37% year to date, the strongest first half since the series began in 1998
🏭 The manufacturing PMI is the strongest since 2022
💰 $18 trillion pledged to restore America's ability to produce at home
🛢️ U.S. oil output tops Saudi Arabia and Russia
⚡ Power plant builds are up 68.5%
🔼 10 new LNG terminals will double export capacity by 2030
⚛️ 10 new AP1000 nuclear reactors
☢️ Nuclear goes from 100 to 400 GW, quadrupling nuclear power by 2050, with restarts underway in PA, MI and CA
Look at Brent crude & WTI after the midterms.
Both are already down nearly 10%.
Obvious Trump was being intentionally sabotaged with Brent crude (City of London financial elites) and gas prices.
I'll take this trajectory over what we had and will have with Democrats. Every. Single. Day.
Pass the SAVE America Act.

Oil has been flowing out of the Strait of Hormuz at pre-war levels from months. But prices never went down. The day after the election the Dow Jones gains 1500 points and oil drops by $10 a barrel. And it's being reported that by next week it will be under $4 a gallon. This was never about the war with iran. This was Big Oil, suits on Wall Street and other dark Forces keeping everything up until after the election. And they couldn't help themselves by celebrating yesterday. You all got played.
