He’s not entirely wrong lowkey
BUT if you’re gonna make a movie for people to watch… idk maybe you gotta be able to at least take a little bit of constructive criticism
Taika Waititi has called critics “sad lost souls” after ‘KLARA AND THE SUN’ became his lowest rated film ever on Rotten Tomatoes.
“I haven't read a review of anything aimed at me or my peers in almost 15 years. But I do listen to the people.
So this Halloween, let's spare a thought for those sad lost souls who couldn't achieve their dreams of becoming artists, and thus became critics. The same people who also hated Jojo Rabbit!
Irrelevant. Out of touch. Obsolete. In the bin.”

Carey Mulligan on voicing Alexandra Svik in ‘WILDWOOD’.👸🏼🐦⬛🍂
“I've always wanted to be in animation, l've always wanted to do a voice, I'd really like to play more villains, so that was quite appealing. LAIKA just makes incredible films, so I was just excited to be asked!”

Patrick Stewart was so influential as Professor Xavier. That all post movie adaptations, pretty much try to replicate his performance. Comics Xavier is actually a downright manipulative and flawed man. Stewart turned him into a saint with aura. That's powerful.
Who should the get to be blade? Obviously they’re never gonna find anyone who would fit the role better than Mahershala Ali so who could they possibly get?

The Suicide Squad and Blue Beetle already felt so disconnected from the broader DCEU canon that it was relatively easy to carry those characters into the new universe with the same actors without making things too confusing or complicated. Neither really relied on references to major DCEU events, making the transition feel fairly natural. After all, Gunn had already acknowledged the previous Justice League members in the opening of Peacemaker Season 2.
“Avengers: Doomsday” directors Anthony and Joe Russo pay tribute to Patrick Stewart, calling him a “childhood hero":
“A legendary actor with an unmistakable presence, and an unmatched integrity. Thank you for entertaining all of us, sir. And for teaching us humanity, both on and off the screen. Sending our love to your family, friends, and fans around the world.”

James McAvoy on the demise of Sir Patrick Stewart.
“Sir Patrick Stewart will always be the definitive Professor X to generations of fans, but to me, he is so much more than that. He is a legend, a mentor, and an extraordinary actor whose presence elevated everyone around him. Stepping into a role he made iconic was never about replacing him; it was about honoring the legacy he built. I will forever be grateful for the path he paved, both on screen and beyond it. There will never be another Patrick Stewart.”

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.
