I think all of us #YR fans agree, @_case1999. xoxo
I just can't believe that in less than two weeks, my precious #YR will get the chance to return to its true identity. I am beyond excited for the work of Jamey Giddens and Dan O'Connor, two of the genre's current greats, as they take the reins and remind all of us of what makes this show so incredibly special. For generations, The Young and the Restless has been more than just a soap opera. It's been a part of our lives, a daily escape, and a storytelling institution that has given us characters, families, rivalries, romances, and moments that have made us laugh, made us cry, and made us wait. I believe daytime needs its legacy shows to remember who they are, to embrace the history that brought them here, and to trust the characters and relationships that audiences have invested in for decades. There is something beautiful about honoring the past while still finding ways to move forward. Here's to a new chapter, to the possibilities ahead, and to the hope that the show we have loved for so many years can once again feel like home.

#YR - Our grandparents and parents raised us on this theme song. Now, the next generations are being raised by us. Who introduced Y&R to you?

My late mother watched it every day after work when VCRs first came out. I would also watch with her during the summers and breaks. Although my earliest memory is late 80s.

#YR - Do you think that we won’t know what happened to Matt until after 11/11 when Jamey and Dan take over the writing?

I hate that Twitter became X. So many of our favorite celebrities who we used to be able to interact with and see their posts have all left mostly. I go to check who’s active and it’s not many. 😞

#YR - RH is a great actor that spans four soaps now. It’s not his fault for inheriting yet another reformed rapist role. He performs his best with the scripts he is given. I wish he was given an original character. Maybe he can become a new one? He did on #GH. 🤷
