This year (we think) has broken all previous records for speed of sales ... as we can announce that after just a couple of days since they officially went on sale, tickets for the @BoldonCC Fizzy Festive afternoon tea have already SOLD OUT.
As recently promised, the first inklings of festiveness are on the way 鈽冿笍鉂勶笍馃巹, and we can now reveal the arrangements for our annual @BoldonCC Fizzy Festive Tea馃.
With a raffle, bingo, tinbola, a christmas stall and a quiz, as ever, it promises to be a fantastic afternoon ..
where friends and family can get together, eat some lovely food and sip some fizz 馃馃嵕馃嵃馃オ 馃珫鈽曪笍. Details are:

With November just round the corner 馃崅馃崄馃崈, that means it's time for another music-fest at @BoldonCC 馃馃弿馃幎馃幐
Taking to the mic this time are Decades Northeast who will be entertaining us with an evening of excellent music from (unsurprisingly) across the decades.
Both of our NE footy teams are in the telly tomorrow & @BoldonCC has all of the action for you.
Newcastle & Sunderland have had shaky starts to say the least & will be looking to hit some kind of form.

A decent night on the baize for our two @BoldonCC pool teams yesterday evening.
John Groombridge's Bs had a back and forth encounter away to Lake - one which saw them take a slender 3-2 advantage into the doubles. However, 2 frame losses there had the match finely poised ...
Over at Boldon, the As played host to Beehive, and in a remarkably similar pattern, found themselves 4-3 down heading into the last singles set. But any fears of defeat were blown away with 4 straight frame wins, with Michael Casson administering the final telling blow.
So tonight has @BoldonCC pool teams back in action.
The As play host to Beehive 馃悵, whilst last week's derby-winning Bs are on their travels 馃殞 as they head off to take on Lake.

Following the recent passing of long-time @BoldonCC player, supporter and friend, Peter Hawkins, we can announce that his funeral arrangements have now been confirmed.
The service will take place on Wednesday November 4th at 10.30am at South Shields Crematorium ... cont'd...

In 'THE' local derby .. one which eclipses anything SAFC/NUFC can rustle up, last night saw a tightly fought Battle Royal between @BoldonCC A and B pool teams.
Despite finding themselves 3-2 down going into the doubles round, the Bs were still very much in the hunt.

And so their hope proved to spring eternal. A tremendous 5 frame trot saw them take an unassailable 7-3 lead. A late 2 frame rally by Ian Robson's As was to no avail and the Bs ran out 7-5 winners.
A famous victory, which will go down in the annals of Boldon pool history ...
