At today’s center meeting, we learned that we eat a lot of cake at the office! In 2024, we already celebrated 33 publications and 27 birthdays but we only ate cake 20 times. If everyone had brought cake for every birthday and publication, we would have eaten 6.5 cakes per month🍰

Both maternal AND paternal IBD diagnosis before childbirth are associated with a higher risk of IBD in the offspring. Factors other than in utero inflammation play a role in IBD risk.
