“No minister or government official of Madagascar shall send their children abroad for education. We are building our nation from the ground up, and this cannot be achieved with a half-hearted commitment. To take our development seriously, we must ensure equality in our educational system. No one receiving taxpayers’ money from Madagascar will be permitted to sponsor their children’s education abroad. This will not be tolerated in my government!” ~ President of Madagascar, Colonel Michael Randrianirina 🇲🇬

On October 24, 1993, 2Pac freestyled on stage alongside Biggie Smalls at Madison Square Garden for Budweiser Superfest.
At the time, Biggie was still a relatively local act, yet to change his name to The Notorious B.I.G. and still a year away from the debut album that would launch him into a superstar.
Pac and Big were invited on stage by Big Daddy Kane during his set, in what became an impromptu passing of the torch to hip-hop’s next generation of leading emcees.
