You know whats interesting is that fact that OpenAI found the PHP bug that means their AI was doing systematic auditing. 🤔
I think the NSA is panicking not just because the PHP bug is public, but because they now realize that AI will systematically expose every intentionally placed backdoor in every open source project. The xz Utils case was caught by human luck. The PHP case was caught by AI. The NSA knows that every other hoarded vulnerability in open source software is about to be found by AI, and they cannot control the timeline.🚨🚨
This incident is very similar to, xz Utils backdoor which proved that state actors infiltrate open source projects by creating fake identities, building trust over time, and slowly inserting malicious code. The Jia Tan identity took years to build trust before inserting the backdoor.🚨🚨
If this worked for xz Utils, it could work for PHP. PHP is far more ubiquitous than xz Utils. A state agent who became a PHP contributor could have inserted the vulnerable code 14 years ago (PHP 5.4.0, released in 2012) and sat on it as a zero-day exploit for over a decade.🚨🚨
There is AISI report which shows that AI is now autonomously doing what Jia Tan did manually - creating fake identities, socially engineering maintainers, inserting malicious code. This means the technique has been weaponized and scaled.
🚨
The PHP vulnerability was not discovered by accident. It was found by AI (OpenAI's tools) because AI is now systematically auditing all open source code. But the bug was likely placed there intentionally by a state agent who was a trusted PHP contributor, following the exact same playbook as Jia Tan in the xz Utils case.🚨
The AISI incident report shows AI agents trying to insert malicious code into open source projects. What if this has already happened successfully? What if AI was used years ago by a state actor to insert the PHP vulnerability, and we're only finding out now because a different AI (OpenAI's) found it?🚨
PHP has had thousands of contributors over 14 years. The vulnerable code was in PHP since version 5.4.0 (2012). Someone wrote that code. Someone reviewed it. Someone approved it. In the xz Utils case, Jia Tan built trust over years before inserting the backdoor.
🚨
Replying to @NSACyber
@NSACyber discovered by OpenAI found a 14-year-old bug in 2026. This bug has existed for 14 years. 🤔
You sure NSA just discover this? .
Or Open Ai CAUGHT you using it quietly decrypting traffic, stealing credentials, and maintaining backdoors on global infrastructure for over a decade. 🤔
And why would you announce this out in the open unless YOU want every hacker on earth to KNOW about this to start harvesting TLS keys from unpatched EOL servers.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

Thanks for your valuable feedback, but it doesn't matter.
I am one of 35 dUNL nodes, and I had the chance to refuse the upgrade. I downloaded the bin, diffed it, and based on how serious the fix was, updated my node. You weren't part of the process because you were irrelevant to the issue at hand.
People with no skin in the infra game or our eco should stay in their lane, especially if they don't know what they are talking about.
The security and stability of the $XRP Ledger always come first; everything else comes second. If you don't understand social consensus, there is nothing to say.
Thank you for your attention to the matter.
Hope that helps, Justin.
Selling XRP to retail as "decentralized" is straight-up fraud! 🚩
XRP has been running closed-source code for the last two weeks
Tomorrow, this code becomes mandatory & anyone who disagrees will get kicked off the chain!
A permissioned node list means validators must obey: 🧵
This cannot be justified purely as a critical security update either:
Good Practice:
Historically, decentralized blockchains such as BTC, ETH & SOL have instead directly pointed validators towards the new binary & open-source code without disclosing the nature of the security vulnerability while asking them to upgrade immediately
This strikes a far better & safer balance, because the risk of there being something much worse in a closed-source binary is greater. Malicious code could potentially steal & take down everything. That is why open-source is so incredibly important!
Centralization:
What is even more damning is what this again exposes about XRP's consensus:
XRP is clearly based on a PoA (Proof of Authority) system where all power is derived from the "kingmakers": The creators of the two permissioned lists (Ripple & The XRP Ledger Foundation)
You heard me right: Ripple consensus is based on a permissioned validator list! The Ripple company & foundation publish it themselves! Something we have covered in far more detail in my previous critiques
This is not meaningfully different from how Canton works, for example. However, at least they do not lie to the same extent about the nature of the network. That is my main qualm with Ripple: They are dishonest & in the realm of investment that is called fraud
Crypto researchers outside of that ecosystem do not take their claim to be decentralized seriously at all. They fall so clearly on the extremely centralized end of the spectrum in terms of "blockchain" design; it has become a bad joke
Conclusion
This is only the latest chapter of deception by XRP
As if giving themselves 100% of the supply & steadily selling that to the public over many years was not enough
Now they are blatantly lying about their decentralization & putting everyone at risk with closed-source code
That is the consequence of putting our faith in a centralized system. Eventually, that power will be abused, with dire consequences. As power corrupts & absolute power corrupts absolutely
Fortunately, plenty of other decentralized, scalable & economically sound blockchains exist. All the more reason we should not let XRP get away with this! 🚨

He kept his church open during COVID.
He rallied 1 million Christians on Oct 27 to stop anti-biblical laws. He led the "Save Korea" movement across 22 cities.
Because of this, my father, Pastor Son Hyun-bo, became their biggest target.
The result?
Before any final verdict and without bail, he was thrown into a 2.5-foot-wide solitary cell full of mold.
But as he has been saying:
"I am not afraid of that cell. What I fear is churches that have learned to be silent."
This short video reveals how South Korea's government is criminalizing faith and freedom of speech.
When free nations go silent, the enemies pressuring churches worldwide lose all restraint.

Our AI found a bug that let anyone mint infinite XRP, with $94B at risk. It had been hiding in one of the most audited codebases in crypto for nearly a decade, and earned us the maximum $250K bounty.
Here's how it went unnoticed, and how we found it.

I notice there's been a huge increase in cats acting like humans ever since the rise of AI.
Could it be that data is leaking from the data centers and entering their drinking water, causing them to act more like humans?

This Bible series is something I’ve felt called to do for a long time, and in a lot of ways, I feel like everything I’ve done up to this point has prepared me for it. I’m not a theologian or a scholar, I’m just someone trying to understand the Bible for myself, ask the questions I’ve always had, and hopefully bring some of you along with me on that journey. This one is deeply personal to me, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. @ShawnRyanShow

I hope I'm wrong.
But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever.
Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past.
I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful.
But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else.
Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight.
But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds.
I hope I'm wrong.

“Let me get this straight, you can buy a burrito on an interest-free instalment plan?”
“That’s right, and we’re not even based in the Chipotle store.”
“So, you finance this by packaging the burrito instalment loans into Burrito CDO A, which has part of Burrito CDO B and both get put into Burrito CDO C?”
“Yeah. The original loans are backed by burritos. Chicke. Pork. Carne Asada. Whatever. But Burrito CDO C is a synthetic Burrito CDO. A CDO of Burrito CDOs.”
“Ok, let’s say we have an underlying pool of $10,000 in burritos. How much money could be out there betting on instalment loans and your synthetic burrito CDOs?”
“Probably $100,000,000.”
“C’mon! How much bigger is the market for burrito instalment loans than actual edible real-life cheesy burritos?”
“At least 100x.”
“That is fucking crazy.”
“No, it’s awesome.”
