Section 1b Greensfield to Rugley Bridge now completed. Section 1c will take us to the boundary with the Freemen of Alnwick’s land. Last year they promised publicly to improve their section of the former railway line and make it accessible to the public.
The magnificent Rugley Bridge reached, marking the end of Stage 1b. Full steam ahead for an Autumn opening of the Borderline Greenway Alnwick Loop.
Members of the public are reminded that the trail access is closed whist work is ongoing
