This is wild. I think it depends on the kid but most kids I know could babysit their younger siblings and cook and all that and be home alone.
I could do it very young. I’d say at least 10/11 for myself personally.
14 (again so long as mature enough and knowledgeable enough) is definitely old enough to watch their young siblings.
I baby sat my brothers including new born brother TJ when I was 11-12.
I’m not saying it’s the case for every kid but it’s definitely common or use to be when I was growing up.
For those who refuse to read the articles about this case. She had a babysitter coming in the mornings to check in, make lunches, get them off to school, and prep dinner for them. All the 14 year old had to do was help them get inside after school. Microwave dinner. Get kids in bed and text mom updates. This was a work trip and they threatened to fire her if she did not go. The father has abuse charges and the police handed him their kids on top of arresting her.

I’ve both not liked and not been liked by someone until much further down the road of knowing each other.
I can’t tell you how many times I knew a girl that initially wasn’t interested in me romantically when I first was and then they liked me that way but never said anything thinking I would ask them out again only to find out years later after they are in a committed relationship / marriage lol

Yes, I think men who obsess about women needing to be modest are telling on themselves.

We know that some preached the gospel for clout in the Apostles’ day. Jesus tolerates them for now.
If he is in Christ, he will one day exalt the sovereign God who saved him while he was still a sinner.
Pray for those who live their idea of Free-Will above Scripture. Pray for those under their influence.
