“I email my Grok Bot more than anyone else these days.” — @KettlebellDan Your Grok Bot can have its own inbox. Forward it the thread, the receipt, the doc, and let it take it from there.

The more you rely on Grok Bot, the harder it would be to start from scratch. If you lost access to your account tomorrow, could you rebuild your setup? Here’s a prompt to create an automatic backup routine and a recovery checklist, stored outside your account, so you can get back up and running faster: “Help me create a backup and recovery SOP for my Grok Bot setup. 1 - Map my setup. Help me ask each Bot to document its own job, rules, memory, skills and routines. Don’t assume one Bot can see what the others have learned. Include essential files, preferences and context. Flag anything inaccessible or missing. 2 - Save a recovery pack. Help me connect Google Drive or OneDrive first. Save a readable rebuild document in a private folder I can access without Grok Bot. Include a connections table: each app, the account it uses, which Bots use it and what they’re allowed to do. Exclude passwords, API keys and login tokens. 3 - Write the rebuild instructions. Use this order: reconnect apps, create Bots, restore their documented instructions and context, add skills, then recreate routines in a paused state. Configure approval rules before enabling anything. Clearly mark where I’ll need to sign in again. Prioritise the workflows I depend on most and include a manual fallback while Grok Bot is unavailable. 4 - Test a recovery. Walk me through rebuilding one non-critical workflow without changing the original. Keep external actions paused. Ask the original and rebuilt Bot the same three questions about its job, rules and preferences. Compare the answers and test the workflow. Record what worked, what was missing and what still needs testing. 5 - Keep it current. After I approve the destination and first backup, create a monthly routine to update the rebuild document. Also update it after changes to a Bot. Explain any update that requires me to trigger it manually. Keep dated versions, verify the saved files can be read and tell me if a backup fails or is incomplete. 6 - Make restarting safe. Check unfinished work, missed tasks and actions already completed, so restarting doesn’t send duplicate messages or repeat transactions. Rebuilt routines start paused. Check what each one sends or changes, then ask for my approval to enable them one at a time. Finish with a one-page ‘Start here’ checklist covering: What’s backed up. What needs manual rebuilding. What to restore first. What doesn’t come back, including past chat history and anything a Bot learned that wasn’t captured.” You’ve put time into getting Grok Bot working the way you want. Make sure you’ve also kept the instructions to build it again. via @Michael_Fenech_

Favorite Grok Bot setup from @thecsguy: Grok Bot running your Claude Code sessions. No more sitting at your Mac babysitting a terminal. Text your bot the task from your phone, it hands it to a Claude Code session on your Mac, and pings you with the results when it's done. Need a follow-up? Just reply to the bot and it goes to the same session. Claude Code does the coding. Grok Bot keeps track of all of it. It's a template you can grab, called Claude Remote: x.ai/bot/aB0M7wQOAcFgd_G0rTE…

Grok Bot can now read your X bookmarks, DMs, timeline and mentions, and run any prompt as a routine on a schedule, even with your laptop closed. 6 prompts worth stealing, via @undefinedKi 👇 1. The morning scan "Every morning at 8, read my timeline from the last 24 hours. Send me a brief: the 5 things that actually matter, anything new in [MY NICHE], posts blowing up that I should reply to, and one idea worth writing about today. One line each, with links. Save this as a routine." 2. The complaint miner "Search X for people complaining about [COMPETITOR] in the last 7 days. For each one give me the link, the problem in one line, and whether [MY PRODUCT] solves it. Draft a reply I can send myself. Don't contact anyone." 3. The lead miner "Every morning, search X for people asking for help with [WHAT YOU SELL]. Skip anyone selling the same thing. For each lead give me the link, what they need in one line, their follower count, and a short reply I can send. Save this as a routine." 4. The weekly report "Every Friday, turn this week's scans into a one-page report: number of mentions, overall sentiment, top 3 posts, anything competitors shipped. Save it to [NOTION / TRELLO]." 5. The inbox "Every hour, read my new DMs. Sort them into: business, questions, spam. For every business pitch, research the company first, then draft a reply in my voice asking for budget and timeline if they're missing. Save this as a routine." 6. The launch watch "I'm launching [PRODUCT] today. For the next 48 hours, read every reply and quote, group the questions people keep asking, and draft one post that answers them all." Paste one into your Grok Bot and save it as a routine.

Watch your Grok Bot work. Take over whenever you want. Rakazo is an open source Grok Bot. Each bot gets its own computer: watch its screen, take control, hand it back. Every action lands in an audit log you own. Every bot in BotDirectory runs on it. rakazo.com

Replying to @itsolelehmann
@itsolelehmann figured out how to give Grok Bot its own phone number — so it can handle the calls you hate making. Stuff Grok Bot can't do on a website: chase a refund, book a table, anything that needs a real call. Connect it to Bland (the phone bot xAI's marketplace uses) and Grok Bot sets it up itself. Dreading a call? Send your Grok Bot. It comes back with the result.

Replying to @CaliLumberJack
@CaliLumberJack maxed their Grok Bot limit with Grok still at 63%. So they flipped the roles. Their Grok Bot is now the director. It writes the briefs, sets up a project per idea, reviews every draft, catches made-up numbers and ships what's ready. Grok does the heavy lifting.

Replying to @madebydia
@madebydia had put a lot of effort into connecting Apple apps to other assistants. Grok Bot just... did it. Now it checks Messages for package tracking numbers and can read handwritten Apple Notes. So many use cases with Grok Bot.

The cheap model triages. The smart one writes. Rakazo is an open source Grok Bot where every bot picks its own model: your Claude or ChatGPT subscription, an API key, OpenRouter, or a local model through Ollama. Every bot in BotDirectory runs on it. rakazo.com

An app user emailed @Texas_Twins_Dad about an error while they were out with family. Grok Bot handled it from A to Z: found the bugs, fixed them, and shipped on its own. So many use cases with Grok Bot.
