Day 0 of my next journey starts today, and I’m optimistic about it ♥️ Something I’ve been pondering: careers, goals, a business act like vectors ↗ Leverage is whatever multiplies you — skills, tools, AI, speed, reach. Leverage amplifies direction. It doesn’t choose it. High leverage with weak intent is real momentum the wrong way. Intent is whether you’re pointed at something worth wanting. High intent with no leverage is the right heading and nowhere to go.

The replay of today's @ARKInvest SpaceX and Tesla earnings panel is gone from X and YouTube, so here's the recap. Biggest swing, ARK projects Tesla and SpaceX could push US real GDP growth from ~3% to 7–9%. Bold call, love the ambition 🚀
The Tesla and SpaceX numbers are in. Now the analysis: live with ARK, @mach33, and special guests today at 4pm ET. xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qKVmyYRa…

No replay to link, so here are the posts. ARK's panel post xitter.cf/ARKInvest/status/21147… ARK's 7–9% GDP post xitter.cf/ARKInvest/status/21148… Aaron Burnett's Starship 2027 model xitter.cf/aaronburnett/status/21…
i'm expecting roughly a 60.4% chance of 40+ Starship flights in 2027 based on a snapshot of our Mach33 launch models. the median of the 3000 monte carlo runs suggests around ~44 starship flights in 2027. for context, SpaceX guided toward roughly 50+ flights of Starship in 2027 with their 1/week and 2/week cadence estimates. Many very sharp folks seem to feel spacex guidance is overly optimistic for 2027. So i decided to put a line in the sand to be judged by. because our models normally focus on much longer terms, i decided to build a mini-model focused explicitly on the question how many starships flights will there be in 2027? pulling from our launch keystone and refocusing down onto 8 core operational and manufacturing variables i was able to run 3,000 simulations. Then pull those simulations into a dashboard open for public scrutiny. mach33-starship-2027.vercel.… some of the core insights... Reflight number per booster has the biggest impact on raising median flights. Ship refurbishment days has among the least impact, moving from 14 to 120 days of refurbishment for a ship only drop median flights by 4.

125 years of 3% real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth. Cathie Wood believes Tesla and SpaceX could help push it to 7-9%. What’s behind this unprecedented shift 👇

We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

The day before… maybe the months before. When someone builds a mountain, don’t back down. Climb it, and see what happens. What the SpaceX and Tesla teams did tonight shows what throwing doubt to the wind and ego aside can do. Thanks to everyone in the fold, you are all amazing and we stand taller together. Much love team - you know I got your back.

something that keeps bothering me is how some people see slop as something that is happening to them, like they're some kind of helpless bystander powerless to do anything about it excuse me but you are a software engineer, you literally learned how to make sand think and make computers do your bidding?! and now you can't do anything about it? please the 2 things you should know to cut through all the noise: 1. you need to give your agent a way to verify its own work (i just posted about this so won't rehash) 2. your codebase is memory the 2nd is not new either, we have always had lint rules, compilers with good diagnostics and strong type systems, LSPs, etc to help us write better code. there is no difference when agents write the code instead, you just need more of them, and stronger ones. forget rules and skills. you can add those later. yes, your codebase is a form of memory to agents! agents love extending what already exists. so every nit and every annoyance you've ever seen, every mistake and bad pattern you observe from agents, needs to turn into a constraint, or the agents will just keep repeating those same mistakes like a virus in your code. then you keep observing and repeating this process until your codebase is locked down enough that even agents with little context can one shot a high quality PR. an even better direction is to refactor/rewrite your code such that agent anti-patterns become categorically impossible. use type systems to your advantage, use libraries/frameworks that reduce the architectural search space, or heck, create your own framework like we did for grok bot and design high quality primitives and well thought out APIs
the slop conversation is so one sided, it's not just that you can produce more code you can also observe, debug, and refactor more code even if the code is slop you have such good tools to deal with it. even if you write code manually, it's still 100x easier to maintain it
