Most schools already have policies in place to deal with phones. This just about distracting from the big issues that Impact our schools: - RAAC - Recruitment & Retention - Funding - SEND - Child Poverty - Pay - Workloads

One of the biggest issues children and teachers grapple every day with is the impact of smartphones in schools. So many schools have already done an amazing job in banning mobile phones. Now, we’re changing the guidance so other schools follow their lead.

Someone needs to tell @GillianKeegan that her department is responsible for academies and controls capital budgets which fund rebuilding and repairing schools. And quickly. Because ignorance, allied with incompetence, allied with intemperance is not a good look.
