Building a smoother way to onboard users into onchain perpetual trading on Monad. 💜
For the @monad Metropolis hackathon, @BraddyMskillder and I built EXORA around one question: can someone open an Android app, create a wallet with a passkey, get testnet collateral, and place a perpetual trade in one clear flow?
EXORA runs on Monad testnet and trades through Perpl. Mera by Category Labs handles passkey access and signing. Home shows MON for network fees and Agora USD (AUSD) balances, with an in-app AUSD faucet. A guided setup takes new users through funding their Perpl account before their first trade.
From there, traders can view live markets, a candlestick chart and an order book; set order size, leverage and slippage; review the trade; and approve direct onchain execution with their passkey. Portfolio shows balances, positions and open orders, while Activity makes confirmed transactions traceable. Rust and Alloy handle market data and contract interaction behind the Android app.
EXORA v1.1.0 is available to try now. We’re building on testnet because we want real feedback on the first-trade experience, order clarity and risk controls before moving toward mainnet. If you try it, tell us what felt smooth—and what made you stop and think.
