Environmental stress is a real thing. General teaching anxiety, with a dash of COVID concern, now flood watch... Leaving the 13 year old back home while the rest of us had to travel away was not easy. 🤯

I'm a bit on edge. My diabetic husband has tested positive for COVID. This is not what we wanted, but working as we do, in Education, we knew it was a possibility. A tense week is up ahead. Sigh.

Can you just imagine how excited ScoMo would have been about this archaic removal of women's rights? I can't believe I woke up this morning in a dystopian novel. Forcing women to give birth, but not protecting actual children from guns is abhorrent. #RoeVsWade

The main takeaway for me here is not the personal organisation stuff. You took care of your career and your wife took care of the 6 kids. Heteropatriarchy is the main reason men are able to have kids while dedicating all their time to their professional careers.
After 2.5 years, kid tests positive. So far he seems asymptomatic. The rest of us are testing neg, which is good. I, however, feel like I've swallowed knives, so either it's coming or it's tonsillitis. Swallowing hurts. FML🤦♀️
