When I was tenting by Yamanakako, I woke up early and walked along the lake.
There was a dead, wild boar floating in the water on the lakeshore.
I reported it to a police box on my way out because I lived in Japan long enough to know 10000 people will walk by it and not report it
The end of my 2026 bicycle adventure.
I have been squirrelling my nickles together for about 5 years to buy a new bicycle. It is both the right time for my old bike to break and the right time to buy a new one. I am thinking Surly.
I made it to Lake Yamanaka below Mount Fuji. I'm knackered, it was uphill all day and it must have been around 28C.

🚨BREAKING: Man attacked by tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park after entering enclosure.
• Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster has confirmed a “serious incident” at its tiger enclosure on Saturday afternoon.
• Yorkshire Ambulance Service was called at 1.33pm, dispatching two ambulances, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and a doctor.
• The park has activated its emergency procedures and is working with authorities to establish what happened. Witness says that "shots were fired."
• The wildlife park has closed and will remain shut tomorrow.
