There is nothing more inimical to the principles that our country was founded on than a government official declaring that due process should be tossed aside.
Everyone is entitled to due process. Everyone. We thought it so important we wrote it into the Constitution TWICE.

A smarter model for paying for college: income-based repayment. You start paying your student loans only once you earn enough to comfortably get by. That turns higher ed debt into something more like a tax surcharge on success, not a choke collar on people who are struggling.

The point is not that a better-for-the-district candidate would have flipped TN-7. The point is that a godawful-for-the-district candidate seems to have cut the Republican margin by nearly 2/3. This was a pure test of Trump toxicity, and the results are flashing bright.

This would be a war crime even if there were an actual war and these people were actual combatants, which there isn't and they weren't.
It's unquestionably an unlawful homicide under any form of law you wish to apply: military or civilian, domestic or international, federal or state.
Flat-out murder by any reasonable definition you can come up with.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

Many people think “doing their own research” means searching for things that agree with them.
That’s not research.
That’s confirmation hunting.
If the choice is between a global scientific consensus and someone’s hurt feelings, the answer is simple:
Science wins.

If you think Joe Biden was too old how do you think Donald Trump who is starting his day later than Biden, falling asleep during Oval Office press conferences, totally forgetting basic facts is NOT too old?

In 2025, payroll growth has slowed to less than half the pace of 2024. Hiring particularly fell off a cliff after ‘liberation day’.
My @Morning_Joe Chart
This is 🐂 💩.
🚨ICE pepper-sprayed an entire group of community members in St. Paul, Minnesota… for standing still.
Here’s what happened in the video:
Community members rushed to a local business after an ICE raid took place. People were standing outside, protesting… literally just standing there… when an ICE agent suddenly moves toward them and shoved multiple people back.
After being pushed back, one protester pointed a finger while yelling, and the agent slapped their hand away… and immediately pepper sprayed, and not just them… the entire group standing nearby.
No one charged at the agent. No one threatened him. The only physical contact came from the agent himself.
Seconds later, the video shows people running, coughing, and even vomiting from the spray. These were neighbors and families who showed up to support their community after a raid. And ICE’s response was to pepper spray them.
This is what happens when an agency has more power than accountability. A pointed finger gets slapped away, and the crowd gets pepper sprayed for daring to stand there.

Trump is threatening to pull federal funding from Colorado if they don’t release Tina Peters.
Trump is not doing this because he cares about Tina Peters. He’s doing it because he needs a win badly to change the horrible week he’s had.
What Trump fails to realize is that they have no say in state law. Blackmailing them with the threat of pulling funding is a threat that has no weight behind it. You can’t withhold federal funding to get states to comply with your wishes. States don’t have to listen to dictators.
Tina Peters has 9 years and she should rot for the next 9 years.

7/ Flu vaccines are not perfect. Effectiveness varies by year and strain, and rare adverse events deserve study. But the evidence is clear: vaccination prevents hospitalizations, ICU admissions, and deaths across all ages, not just in children. Last season’s 280 pediatric deaths, 89 percent not fully vaccinated, are part of a much larger toll that included tens of thousands of adult deaths. These are not just statistics. They are preventable tragedies. Make your decision based on complete evidence, not on selective quotes.

Another day, another video of ICE agents assaulting, abducting, and neglecting someone in medical distress… on court property, in the Chicago area.
That alone violates court orders. But it gets worse. ICE refused to show the man’s attorneys the warrant they claimed to have.
Agents slammed him into a fence so hard it broke, leaving him bleeding… then several men pinned him down and zip-tied him before throwing him into a car. No medical care. No paperwork. No answers.
This isn’t just inhumane. It’s illegal.
And it happened the same day a federal judge ordered the release of hundreds of unlawfully detained people in the Chicago area.
At what point do we stop calling these “isolated incidents”?
When an agency ignores court orders, hides warrants, and violates due process… no one’s rights are safe.
