I had the opportunity to interview #13 Johnny Gaudreau at the hockey world championships in Prague on May 23, 2024, shortly after Team USA was defeated by the Czechs in the quarterfinal. 'Johnny Hockey' was a true gentleman as we discussed how much it meant for him to represent the U.S. on the international stage and hoping to continue to do so at the Milan-Cortina '26 Olympics. Heartbreaking to hear, but I wanted to once again honor this immensely talented hockey player and amazing person by sharing this. @Gaudreau5K @usahockey @TKACHUKycheese_ @ZachWerenski @BradyTkachuk71

Happy 72nd Birthday to Mike Eruzione! I caught up with the 'Miracle on Ice' captain, "Rizzo" #22, a few years ago to reminisce and relive that miraculous day in Lake Placid, NY, February 1980. Everything that you want to know about his game-winning goal vs. the Soviets, Herb Brooks' mastermind strategy, and their immensely inspirational, tight-knit squad, of 46 years ago! @MERUZIONE @1980MiracleTeam @usahockey @TeamUSA teamusa.com/news/2024/januar…

No precipitation, but a windy morning on the Rettenbach Glacier. Wind gusts, especially across the upper section of the course, with the start at 3000m+ have forced a lower men's start for run one. 🇳🇴 Norway's Atle Lie McGrath will be first out of the gate at 10:00 CET. 🇧🇷 Brazil's Olympic champion Lucas Pinheiro Braathen starts 4th. 69 racers from 24 nations are set to compete... @soeldencom

Not what the fanatical 🇦🇹 Austrian fans wanted in Soelden - last year's winner & 2025-26' GS crystal globe winner Julia Scheib crashes out in first run. “I had a really good feeling through the first section and then I took too much risk at one gate and everything happened very suddenly” Scheib said, after skiing to the bottom uninjured. “I felt really good at the start without any extra pressure because of last season. The conditions were amazing. We have some weeks still until the Killington races and I want to go there with a good feeling.” @soeldencom

A behind the scenes glimpse - the determined athletes, the intrepid journalists, FIS bosses, and naturally the vibrant parties - as we kick off a new FIS World Cup Alpine ski racing season in Austria's Oetztal Valley, high above the happening resort of Soelden. It's all for real on Saturday morning on the Rettenbach Glacier as Mikaela and the ladies have honors. Odermatt and the boys follow on Sunday. Should be a helluva weekend of racing, always unpredictable and dramatic here. Let me show you around town.. @usskiteam @MikaelaShiffrin @soeldencom @fisalpine

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde addressed Norwegian teammates and media via video at the ski team's press gathering yesterday in Soelden. He addressed his torn Achilles injury suffered in training last week. The former overall World Cup champion has been on the comeback trail over the past few past seasons so just heartbreaking. All the best Aleks! Often a cruel sport. #norway

Saddened to hear of the passing of New York Rangers icon Ron Duguay today. He played with flair, style, passion, determination, and the best flowing hair in the #NHL in his era. A favorite of my father and I during a wonderful era at Madison Square Garden & in NYC. And his legend only grew stronger working as a Rangers TV analyst with the late, great Al Trautwig. RIP Ron. 🙏@NYRangers
