Absolutely enchanting! In "Toulouse's Dreams," the premiere by Art Bridgman & Myrna Packer at NY Theatre Ballet @FIAFNY, Diana Byer herself is the artist/magician whose cane guides us thru a techno-looking-glass of dream imagery. Haunting music by Martha Mooke. Bravo!
The premiere of Toulouse's Dreams, Florence Gould Hall, 55 E59th St, NYC, March 4-5, our newest work commissioned/performed by the exquisite New York Theatre Ballet. With works by Cunningham and Tanowitz. Original score played live by @MarthaMooke! bit.ly/3H9sD6i.

This song, "Build a House", came knocking a week ago and I had to let it in. What can I say about what’s been happening, what has happened, & what continues to happen, in this country, in the world? There’s too many words & none, all at once. So I let the music speak, as usual.

In these days of anxiety, I wanted to find a way to continue to share some of the music that gives me comfort. The first of my #SongsOfComfort: Dvořák – "Going Home”
