“Money goes up.” Tony Soprano has had ENOUGH. Tony gathers his crew and unleashes his frustration over their lack of financial growth. The numbers aren't improving, business opportunities are falling apart, and his top earners aren't bringing in what he expects. The councilman project has “died on the vine,” and Tony is furious that everyone seems to have an excuse. Meanwhile, Uncle Junior is fighting for his life in court, and Tony expects the crew to contribute more money to help cover the enormous legal expenses. His message is simple: the money must keep flowing, regardless of the circumstances. Tony doesn't want to hear about the economy or anyone's personal struggles. In his world, earning is a responsibility, and every member of the organization is expected to deliver. But beneath the angry speech is a deeper truth about leadership: Tony demands loyalty from everyone beneath him while carrying the pressure of keeping the entire organization profitable. Is Tony a brilliant leader holding his crew accountable, or a boss who expects everyone else to carry his burdens? #TheSopranos #TonySoprano #MobLife

JG Nuke Explains Why Fusion Alchemy Is Still Science Fiction “One of my favorite things about 2025 has been short science fiction.” “Are we really at the point where the plot of Hudson Hawk is becoming reality? CERN converted a few atoms of mercury into gold, and now these guys claim they did ten times as much.” “Fantastic, but you’re still talking about less than a billionth of a gram of gold after investing hundreds of millions of dollars into your machine. You’re not replacing gold miners anytime soon.” “Honestly, we should hope this becomes a problem because it would mean energy is no longer an issue and humanity has entered an era of abundance.” “But we’re not there yet, despite everyone raising capital on fusion science fiction.”

If E.D.I.T.H. was designed to obey Tony’s commands, how is she now operating independently inside Vision? Did Tony build her with more autonomy than we were ever shown? #Avengers

Oh, so now we’re admitting that the Russians aren’t forced to fight but the Ukrainians are because nobody really wants to die for Ukraine. This war needs to end.
The Russian fighters are not conscripts. They signed up for this.

every thursday, the same seat in a small theatre in ljubljana was booked, paid for, and left empty. seat c14. seven weeks in a row. the box office manager thought it was a glitch until she checked the payment records. the bookings came from one account, renewed each week without fail. then a woman arrived carrying an old theatre programme. she asked for c14, and when i told her it was already booked, she turned the programme over and showed me a handwritten note. “matej — c14, thursday nights.” “my brother worked here,” she explained. “he always sat there when he watched a show. he died two years ago.” she wasn’t asking us to give her the booking details. she wanted to know why someone had started reserving his seat again. the manager checked the account history, then went quiet. the bookings had started on the anniversary of matej’s last performance.

Her name was Meera. The last train had left. The station was almost empty, just the sound of rain on the roof and the low hum of the lights. She sat on the bench opposite me, coat damp, one shoe half off, scrolling on her phone. After a while she looked up. “You’re still here,” she said. “Same as you.” She smiled, small. “There’s a place two streets down that stays open late. Better than waiting here.” 🧵👇

Sam Altman warns that AI is making it increasingly difficult to tell what’s real and what’s fake. Voice authentication is already vulnerable, and soon, even FaceTime calls could be indistinguishable from reality. The technology may already exist, even if it’s not publicly available yet.

Catherine of Aragon refuses to step aside as Queen, demanding the King's challenge to their marriage go before the Pope, but the King breaks with Rome entirely, declaring himself head of the new Church of England and casting Catherine off as a "dried out husk" in pursuit of Anne Boleyn (Natalie Portman) and a male heir. Amid the political fallout, personal lives unravel as court loyalties and family expectations trap those closest to the crown. 📷 • The Other Boleyn Girl The Other Boleyn Girl follows sisters Anne and Mary Boleyn as they're pulled into a dangerous rivalry for King Henry VIII's affection, reshaping England's history in the process. #TheOtherBoleynGirl #NataliePortman #HenryVIII

To a point and she wasn't really good about sticking to it. By book 4 she had lost her way. Its one of the reasons there was more time between book 4 and 5 than there was for the others. She had to get back on track. She also didn't plan out her characters as well as she should have. She had certain things in mind for them but since she didn't plan them out well enough they became completely different people than she had planned on. That's why some of the decisions she made for some characters seem out of place by the end of the series. One example of this is the scene at the end of book five between Luna Lovegood and Harry. Any hopes of realistically marrying off Ginny and Harry and making it seem convincing was just out of the question. Another example of poor character planning was the wasted opportunities with Ron. In book 1 Rowling establishes Ron with a budding talent in strategy. He was able to win at the wizard's chess game that McGonangal set up. She never really followed up on this. In the 7th book when Harry, Ron and Hermione were floundering had Ron been properly developed he should have been able to come up with a more coherent plan.
Did J. K. Rowling plan out all 7 books of Harry Potter before she started on the series?

Keeping Tina alive is just another classic trope from modern writers who are too afraid to let tragedy be tragedy. In Stephen King's book, the prom wasn't a selective superhero showdown, it was a indiscriminate massacre where the bullies faced the lethal consequences of their own malice. Survival wasn't handed out like candy to soften the horror. Modern screenwriters kept her alive because they're obsessed with sanitizing King's brutal climax into a multi-season CW drama where everyone gets a spin-off setups or cheap redemption arcs. Stop neutering high-stakes horror just to keep characters around for Season 2. #Carrie
I’m genuinely curious why they decided to keep Tina alive when she dies in every movie adaptation and even in the book. What’s the reason for changing her fate this time? #Carrie

Steve Harvey reportedly discovered he owed the IRS a staggering $22 MILLION after his accountants allegedly spent SEVEN YEARS pocketing his tax payments without filing his returns. The shocking part? He only found out after one of the accountants died and a woman cleaning out the office discovered years of signed tax documents and checks. Imagine being robbed of millions, only to discover you’re still the one responsible for paying it all back. This is why you can trust people with your money, but NEVER outsource your financial awareness. Seven years is a long time to be betrayed by people you pay to protect you.

When people blame Azula’s entire personality on Ozai and his upbringing, I just laugh. 😭 Watch her smile as her own father burns Zuko’s face during the Agni Kai. Her upbringing explains a lot, but that reaction was genuinely disturbing. 💀🔥
Hearing a child say this so playfully with gleefulness and even seriousness in a way is horrifying
