By this point, you should know that if Rhys orders Az not to do something, it's foreshadowing that Az will do it. Rhys doesn't want Az at Vallahan, so he's going in the next book.

So the Truth-Teller was probably sad because its twin Gwydion was stolen. And now that Az left it, it'll probably also go missing...
Also it's kind of interesting that erebos can hear the TT singing, because it was made, and so far only starborn or made characters have been able to interact with the trove.

My contribution to 🪑 scene #elriel
If Erebos who's a shadow being, can leave his shadows behind, why do you think it's normal for Azriel's shadows to always cling to him
Elain and Az are friends. They've spent a lot of time together, they can literally read each other without speaking, with no powers involved. This book had to set up the romantic conflict because the larger plot is going to kick off in the next one. There's no time for convo lol

Happy ACOSH DAY! I expect lots of bread making and neck kisses from Azriel and Elain
#Elriel
Canon Elain bakes early in the morning and waits for Azriel to come kiss her and nuzzle her neck before starting her day 😭
Elain whispering shyly to Azriel, Marry me, and him in utter disbelief, thinking he's dreaming because the flower bright, honey sweet Elain wants to be bound to him after learning everything about his dark life
