Hunters generate funding for active forest management techniques that enhance habitat for elk and other wildlife while also improving overall forest health. In 2025, RMEF completed 110 habitat stewardship projects in 21 states that enhanced 121,919 acres.

NFL fined 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an offensive demonstration Sunday vs. Miami. “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter. Juszczyk, nicknamed “Juice”, already has appealed the fine.
