Congratulations to another Canberra trailblazer, Louise Taylor, who will today become our country’s first Indigenous female Supreme Court judge. A significant, historic appointment 👏👏👏👏 📸 via @abccanberra

Frontline workers wanted the Royal Commission to deliver accountability for the senior PS and Govt Ministers who designed the scheme and reforms to ensure it can never happen again. Today we got a lot closer to achieving those outcomes 👇

Ah a gov that values the work of the Public Service and our members jobs. Sweet relief! More to be done but a solid effort. CPSU will always campaign for secure, ongoing APS jobs. Good work union members!

That’s why I was proud to announce with @andrewjgiles and the @CPSUnion that Albanese Government is transitioning 50 labour-hire call centre positions in the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) National to permanent, ongoing Australian Public Service jobs.

An employer of choice offers fair and reasonable pay & conditions. All APS workers should get behind our member’s claim and join CPSU today! ✌️

We want better public services and to address public sector capacity… We need to start with a pay rise and improved conditions for APS workers 👇 canberratimes.com.au/story/8…

Getting it done!
Labor promised it. Today we are delivering it. The Albanese Labor Government is putting integrity back in politics.
Endorsed by our amazing elected workplace leaders to take on the role of CPSU National President today. After 18 years, I still feel so enormously privileged to work for my union and our members. Thanks @mark_gepp for seeing potential all those moons ago!

The @CPSUnion has been working hard w/ @unionsaustralia to put together this book amplifying the voices of workers being held back by 10yrs of ⬇️ pay, insecure work & poor bargaining. The current workplace relations system is broken. Our Secure Jobs, Better Pay Bill will fix it.

Increase in APS staffing very welcome and long overdue.. as we face another summer of floods and natural disasters maintaining support for the community and staffing will be critical 👇 canberratimes.com.au/story/7…

Big night for APS workers and those who rely on public services - 7,500 new PS jobs and measures to address the wasteful spend on consultants. Rebuilding the public service will take time, but this is a great start!

Everyone has to pay their fair share… Big business can have a government contract or they can have a tax haven but they cannot have both #NSWLaborConf22

Big news at Home Affairs…key personnel & structural change. Immigration functions were downgraded under previous govt so new role to redress that. Heaps of work to repair visa backlogs and system and settlement services. More staff needed too. #auspol themandarin.com.au/202054-st…

@CPSUnion welcomes the Federal Government’s commitment to rebuilding the APS and a better approach to APS bargaining and industrial relations. Now to get to service-wide bargaining to negotiate the wages and conditions public sector workers deserve.
Public servants will receive a 3 per cent boost to their pay packets as the federal government looks to give itself more time to establish a bureaucracy-wide wage deal. | @sbasfordcanales canberratimes.com.au/story/7…
