Patients are facing a #BloodEmergency and need our help! Vitalant's blood supply has dropped by nearly 50% since the start of the summer. Donations are going out faster than they are coming in. All donors are needed: donors.vitalant.org

We want to congratulate Woody on donating his 60th gallon at our Littleton donation center yesterday! Woody has been giving blood since the 1980's and has now made 480 total donations. He spends around 2 hours giving platelets every 2 weeks to help patients in need. #youarevital

Lynn donates platelets to help patients like his wife, Kathy, who needed a total of 64 platelet and blood products while battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Kathy is now living a healthy life and Lynn credits the amazing blood donors who helped save her! vitalant.org

Well, this storm took a turn quickly 😳 four trees at Pferdesteller Park in the West Highlands toppled over like dominos. Luckily no one was hurt that I know of.

Today's snow forced all of Colorado's metro blood drives to be cancelled, and more than 400 units of blood could not be donated. It takes an average of 450 donations each day in our region to meet the needs of patients. We ask everyone to donate as soon as they are able.
