Year 5 started their work on Maths through stories & Art. We read “The perfect fit” & focused on mathematical vocabulary relating to properties of 2D shape. We then explored tessellation & what it means. Tomorrow we look at how this inspired the artist Escher. #broomfieldsmaths

Year 4 enjoyed a range of activities today. It started off with a visit from @primevruk. Later, they created a piece of art linked to ‘The Perfect Fit’ for our maths through stories. We finished the day off with an ice pop on the field!😋 #BroomfieldsComputing #BroomfieldsMaths
