Hey people, big day!
If you own $EGLD, you can now vote on the first blockchain economics model that was created and improved through a series of public forums.
Was an incredibly educational, highly productive, and actually fun process.
Onwards. Upwards.
The result of the last xExchange idea passed through governance is now live.
Claim your rewards now to be prepared for next week's hoard... I mean claim each week, but especially this one and the next one.
With protocol reinvesting buybacks into LSTs with the new economics, I'm thinking whether we could hook MEX to some of that juice.
@LataretuClaudiu
This single change on fee distribution towards devs can make such a big difference on how any dev can decide whether to deploy on MvX as well or not.
My initial thoughts on the new @MultiversX economics proposal. While I'm still digesting all the changes, one point immediately lit up my mind like a 🎄
The proposed 90% distribution of transaction fees directly to smart contracts as developer rewards. 🤯
I ran some quick numbers for @xExchangeApp. Our 748 smart contracts currently capture ~23-25 $EGLD per month in developer rewards.
With a 90% transaction fee distribution, this could jump to ~215 $EGLD per month.
For the $MEX token, this translates to ~1% monthly buying pressure based on today's liquidity from the largest pool.
Seeing the proposed changes to staking and validator incentives, opening an xExchange staking provider is also becoming a very attractive idea. 🤔
This approach would allow us to capture more value for the protocol and the $MEX token, while keeping the $EGLD value locked within the ecosystem.
Compounded flywheel for the entire ecosystem!

XMONEY SECURES $21.5M STRATEGIC FUNDING LED BY SUI FOUNDATION IN A JOINT VENTURE WITH MULTIVERSX
Stablecoins are crypto’s highest-impact use case and the biggest financial innovation since fiat.
xMoney is building a superior, vertically integrated payment stack that unites all worlds into one seamless experience.
MultiversX pioneered this vision early, laying the foundation for compliant stablecoin payments. With Sui’s investment and partnership, the collaboration now enters a larger, global phase, combining leading-edge technology with bold execution to scale adoption worldwide.
Welcome to the Stablecoins Supercycle. $XMN
We're excited to announce that we’ve raised $21.5M in strategic funding, led by the Sui Foundation (@SuiNetwork) with continued support from @MultiversX 💪
This funding fuels our mission to unlock the multi-trillion-dollar opportunity in global payments and stablecoins, backed by full MiCA compliance, Visa & Mastercard membership, and infrastructure serving thousands of merchants worldwide.
Stablecoins are already settling $7T+ annually. What they need now is trust, compliance, and usable rails. That’s where xMoney comes in 🫡
The future of payments is here, and we'll keep building it!
Discussions are open on one of the very important parts that lead to a more efficient and permissionless protocol.
Can someone at @orangeromania help me fix this stuck emailer? It's spamming me every 10 minutes & support doesn't help. 200+ emails in a few hours.
Needless to say, I can't really add orange to my spam list.
Along with @xExchangeApp's v3.3 release, all farm, staking and metastaking contracts now expose onBehalf features that third party services and protocols can implement to offer composable actions for users or handy tools like automatic & scheduled claims.
docs.xexchange.com/developer…
An example of what these new endpoints allow: a user can send its position to a 'custodian' that can claim on their behalf.
The position will continue to be boosted by user's energy and all claimed rewards onBehalf are sent directly to user(even though his position is elsewhere)
@HatomProtocol
was the first to awesomely implement this feature in their booster, thus opening the door for every other developer that sees an opportunity to leverage this. This feature had a crazy history before, wonder if it would be nice to talk about it in a podcast or smth.
I hope everybody understands how much this was required to be done from the beginning and how critical it is to do it now.
David vs Goliath is a nice story, but people often forget that David needed stones.
Now, fighting Silicon Valley needs a lot of stones.

12/ Funding the war chest
Fourth, 2025 will be the year of a strategic funding round.
We have already begun conversations to secure the funding needed to achieve MultiversX’s American ambitions.
To play in the big leagues—and win—we need a big league war chest. There is no way around it. The US is the big leagues, the game is played completely differently.
With this war chest, we will secure MultiversX’s position for the next 10 years, at the very epicenter of the new American technology era that is starting.
This is targeted to happen during Q2/Q4 2025.
This stack makes life so much easier to clone mainnet state and have basic tools available.

While state setting wasn't the nicest yet (cloning ESDTs required some deep and very specific knowledge until getting it right) it worked eventually. Everything else that was required was to make it friendly and attach an api, explorer & wallet on it. [6/7]
