Neue Satellitenaufnahmen zeigen, wie Russland seine militärischen Aufklärungsfähigkeiten in Kaliningrad offenbar massiv ausbaut.
Nach Medienberichten vom 19. Oktober dokumentieren Aufnahmen des finnisch-polnischen Unternehmens ICEYE den Bau eines riesigen Überhorizontradars bei Gwardeisk, unweit der Grenzen zu Polen und Litauen:
🔴 Drei Antennenreihen von jeweils mehr als 500 Metern Länge sollen bereits erkennbar sein.
🔴 Das System könnte Flugzeuge und Raketen über Entfernungen von etwa 900 bis 3.000 Kilometern erfassen.
🔴 ICEYE identifiziert in Kaliningrad mehr als 20 Standorte für Signalaufklärung und elektronische Kriegsführung.
🔴 Weitere Anlagen befinden sich offenbar im Ausbau.
Kaliningrad ist bereits heute ein zentraler russischer Militärstandort im Ostseeraum. Russland verfügt dort über umfangreiche Fähigkeiten zur elektronischen Kriegsführung.
Das neue Überhorizontradar dient primär der militärischen Aufklärung.
Die strategische Bedeutung ist erheblich: Russland erweitert offenbar seine Möglichkeiten, militärische Bewegungen der NATO frühzeitig zu erfassen und den Ostseeraum zu überwachen.
Ob alle Anlagen bereits einsatzbereit sind, ist noch ungeklärt. Eines wird deutlich: Während Russland seinen Krieg gegen die Ukraine fortsetzt, investiert Moskau weiter in militärische Fähigkeiten unmittelbar an den Grenzen der NATO.
Kaliningrad ist längst mehr als eine russische Exklave. Es ist ein strategischer Militärstandort mitten an Europas verwundbarer Ostflanke.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Republicans threaten to block $350 billion in Pentagon funding unless Trump takes a tougher stance on Russia
The dispute was triggered by the Trump-Putin deal on diesel imports, as well as restrictions on Ukraine’s use of satellite systems.

Republican congressman threatens sanctions against US agencies over Starshield restrictions in Ukraine
US Representative Brian Fitzpatrick said he would push for an investigation into restrictions on the Starshield satellite system in Ukraine.
He said those responsible could face public congressional hearings and budget cuts for the agencies involved.
Fitzpatrick pledged to discuss military aid for Ukraine and sanctions against Russia with Volodymyr Zelensky.
He also urged the US to provide Kyiv with the weapons it needs, completely phase out Russian oil and tighten sanctions against Moscow.
According to the congressman, these measures would receive broad support in the House of Representatives.

Mezinárodní měnový fond – ostříž, který se ve všech zemích zaměřuje na snížení schodku rozpočtu – říká, že Česko není v rozpočtově kritické situaci. Zdůrazňuje, že dobrá hospodářská politika může podstatně zvýšit ekonomický růst, tím zvýšit příjmy státu a zcela logicky tak postupně snižovat schodek rozpočtu.
MMF například konkrétně doporučuje znovuzavedení EET (vyšší výběr daní, méně úniků) a zvýšení daně z nemovitosti a její výběr podle tržní hodnoty. Česko dnes vybírá jen 0,3 % HDP, průměr OECD je 1,7 % (rozdíl ~119 mld. Kč). To by zároveň pomohlo omezit spekulativní poptávku a aktivovat nevyužité bydlení.
Zároveň MMF varuje před rušením penzijní reformy: snížení věku odchodu do důchodu zatíží veřejné finance a sníží prostředky na budoucí důchody.
Hodnocení MMF poukazuje na potenciál české ekonomiky a přichází v pravou chvíli — záleží, zda ho nová vláda využije.

Is Trump creating an alternative to the UN?
The Trump administration is proposing to sell permanent seats on a new Board of Peace — at $1 billion per country, Bloomberg reports.
Under the draft charter, Donald Trump would receive full control over the body. He would personally decide who joins, approve all decisions, and control the finances. Formally, decisions would be made by vote, but would only take effect after his approval.
Sources say the White House views the council as a possible alternative to the UN — an unofficial parallel mechanism for conflict resolution. Its mandate could be expanded beyond Gaza to other regions, including Ukraine.
The document describes the council as an “international organisation” tasked with ensuring stability, governance, and long-term peace in conflict zones. The project would become official once at least three countries endorse it.
