Today the Green School Committee was rewarded for all of their hard work over the past two years. We decided that the best way to celebrate the biodiversity flag was to head to the coast. A brilliant day ☀️☀️@GreenSchoolsIre @thebrunnerD7

Yesterday the @GreenSchoolsIre committee had their first day of planting! We are looking forward to more to come 🌸

Happy Earth Day 🌎 Take the time today to think about one extra thing you can do for our Earth. Can you cycle more, recycle more, turn off the switches, buy less, turn down the heating, use more reusable items? Every positive change makes a positive difference.

Last Friday our @GreenSchoolsIre committee carried out a weeding and clean up of our School @thebrunnerD7. We also hung some brilliant posters from the Irish department. 🌼

With our bike sheds overflowing with locked bikes, the @GreenSchoolsIre committee used their prize from @climate_ambass to purchase a pump and some bike repair kits from @RotharPhibsboro. This means that everyone in the school can fix and repair their bike when needed. 🚲

Using the money raised from our @GreenSchoolsIre action day, the Green School Committee purchased houses for ladybirds, bees and butterflies. They were then beautifully painted by the boys in our home room. We can’t wait to see them in use 🐝 🐞 🦋

Today Ms. O’Brien’s CSPE class joined the Green School committee in cleaning up our school. We are proud of school environment. @GreenSchoolsIre @thebrunnerD7
