I still can't believe I was at Wembley on Saturday to witness Crystal Palace winning their first FA Cup. I wrote about the moments in and around the game that became memories for a lifetime. #cpfc

Appreciated Nantz and Watt explaining why the Tucker signing in KC was controversial. Took about 30 seconds and then kept it moving—it’s not rocket science.

Let’s be honest with ourselves that, at the bare minimum, anytime deported will be detained/questioned/tortured as soon as they arrive in Afghanistan. The Taliban obviously is going to punish everyone who was evacuated by the U.S.
Absolutely horrific for thousands of allies.
Breaking News: The Trump administration has detained dozens of Afghan immigrants in Louisiana — including relatives of those who helped the U.S. military — and plans to deport them to Afghanistan, according to U.S. officials. nyti.ms/4jPVvrw

Kaitlyn Chen graduated from UConn in 2025 & didn’t expect to get drafted. She showed up to WNBA draft night to support her close friend & teammate Paige Bueckers. Chen was pulled from the crowd stunned when her name was called 30th overall. Still, 3rd round picks rarely make it to the opening day roster in the W. Sure enough, she was waived by the Valkyries after preseason. Chen went straight to work to make sure she was ready if she got a call. That call came a month later and she rejoined the Valkyries. In the offseason, she worked her butt off playing overseas and for Athletes Unlimited, but the Valks only signed her to a 2026 training camp contract, essentially a try out. She continued to put her head down and work. The team announced she earned a spot, and soon a key bench role. Now she’s a champion. Inspiration. #valkyries

The government has not reported Gustavo Rivero Napoles’ death — because U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released him from its custody the day he was moved to the ICU, likely unresponsive, about 48 hours before he died.
On Oct. 25, a Cuban man died of stage 4 cancer after 6 months in ICE detention.
But ICE didn't report Gustavo Rivero Napoles’ death — because it released him the day he went to the ICU, 48 hrs prior.
“He died being treated like a dog,” his niece said.
