With the end of the Mystics season, this officially ends the first true season of the District of Buckets coverage cycle.
From local college and HS Women’s and Men’s hoops to covering my 1st March Madness + WNBA seasons in person, it’s been great sharing and I appreciate everyone along for the ride.
Excited to begin another season as CBB and the NBA gears up and I can’t wait to see how things improve from here!

Jdub gives a double thumbs up to the crowd. Praying for him man, just feel so bad for a guy who has dealt with so much over the last year.

Of the biggest impact transfers in the DMV this season, several are returning after stints outside the area.
Here's a look at @AshtonGravess4 @iamchrisproctor @Marshallba24 @MalachiTerrell3 @yeadat_monnie as they come home to close their HS careers:

Cassandre Prosper vs. Slovanka (ZBL):
12 PTS
3 REBS (All off.)
2 ASTS
2 STLS
19 MINS
4-6 on 2s
1-2 on 3s
1-2 on FTs
Besides the playmaking and glass cleaning, I liked how Prosper didn’t run off the 3PT line on the close out. Instead, she created space for the shot

Let me revive this again: Show love to your local NBA reporters and writers. We’re putting in the work — not the copy-paste accounts. 🚫

There will definitively be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valkyries, Dream and Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.
"There are problems with all the solutions," one source close to the situation said.

Nausadis is keeping AU within striking distance in this one with his 3pt shooting. Currently has 15p with 13:32 left to play.
They've had no answers for Taylor III today. 24p

In a world that doesn’t uplift strong, motivating, black fathers…I’m shining the light on mine because I wouldn’t be who I am today without him. Being poured into on a daily, means more to me than any acknowledgment from strangers. How can I be a disappointment when this is who raised me? ❤️
