It really is wonderful working on initiatives like this to engage and educate the public and younger generations about how important our pollinators really are! 🐝

In 2021 we worked with @BuckleysBees to install two bee hives at Kings Moat Garden Village in #Chester. The bees have been happily living amongst residents ever since, and the weekly beekeeper visits are a highlight for many who live there 🐝 #WorldBeeDay bit.ly/4bNsRzO
These bees made their own ‘entrance block’ at the front of their hive on the first frame by using propolis! Adaptation at it’s finest! #adaptation #honeybees #nativebees #propolis #beeseason
It’s World Bee Day! This is one of the most important days of the year as it gives us chance to raise awareness and educate our followers, supporters and hopefully new friends as to why bees are so important!

It never gets old watching new life come Into the world! This is a worker bee hatching from its cell. It takes 21 days for a worker bee to hatch from when the queen lays the egg #honeybees #queenbee #nativebees #beeseason #workerbee #eggtohatch

Did you know that mowing your lawn less often is actually better for both your garden and pollinators? Use this as your excuse to put away the lawn mower, put your feet up and let your garden grow! #BuckleysBees #SaveTheBees #BeeFriendly #NoMowMovement #PollinatorsWelcome

It’s World Wildlife Day! 🐝 Did you know 80% of swarms don’t survive in the wild due to loss of habitat, food, climate change and pests and diseases. So it’s so important to contact a beekeeper if you see a swarm of honey bees!

Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees. 🐝🐝🐝#sustainability #beepopulation #pollinators #crops #foodsourcce
We are always looking for beekeepers to work with us and look after our colonies on our behalf. If you are interested and experienced get in touch with us at [email protected] #beekeeperswanted #bees #busybees #businessbees
Did you know bees detect taste with their front feet as well as their tongues and jaws? They have over 300 taste sensors on the tips of their antennae. #cleverbees #beefacts #buckleysbees
Happy New Year!
Buckley's Bees are father and daughter David and Emma Buckley who have more than 65 years of beekeeping experience between them. They are on a mission to raise awareness of the importance of the native bee population and to sustainably reverse their decline.
We love working with businesses to encourage the native honeybee population. 🙏 🐝
The automotive enterprise cooperated with @BuckleysBees in 2019 as part of its carbon neutrality strategy for the premises in Crewe, Cheshire, with 2022 bringing more honey than ever before!

Honeybees Facts: A Queen Bee can live up to 5 years; nectar is high in natural sugars providing energy for the bees to work; and a bees wing strokes approximately 11,400 times per minute! #queenbees
We can all do our bit to help pollinators whether that's in our gardens, balconies or windowsills. Planting a range of flowers to that they have access to nectar throughout the season is important. 🐝#pollinators #flowers #nectar #planting
