🚨 NEW: We polled 1,000 British adults about the data centres being built here, and net support for one near where you live sits at -13.
The North East is the most supportive region at +11 and Northern Ireland the most opposed at -50.

They built it out of bath stone for you people, nicest Lidl I’ve ever seen😭
If it was an M&S, I’d half expect you lot to pick up a trowel and help them.

⚡️ We need to make better use of the vast resources under our feet and rid ourselves of Net Zero madness.
That starts with Jackdaw, continues with Rosebank and it should continue with further exploration as well.

Decline is a choice - and we need the political leadership from MPs to champion why building this stuff is vital to sustain and enhance our national quality of life.

London's housebuilding collapse is a man-made crisis from City Hall, and families are paying the price.
A global London is pointless if a local London does not work for families, business, and Londoners. The steady exit of developers from London is now becoming a stampede.
I am running for Mayor to make City Hall work for inner and outer London.

The latest green belt statistics have been released - can we see grey belt policy in action?
The green belt has *increased* in size over the last decade.
Although the green belt shrunk last year, if it continued to shrink at the same rate it would last another 3,400 years.

It’s true that there are massive challenges for housebuilding - in many ways the problem has shifted from scarcity of land to the fact you can’t build at a profit. But let’s slash back the policy costs first before juicing the demand side on the same ridiculous cost base.
Maybe building our entire economy around services wasn’t a good idea. But at least we can pivot to physical AI in manufacturing & data centre buildout with our cheap energy and permissive planning system

Developer, British Land has downed tools on one of London’s largest regeneration projects “warning sign that the viability of residential development in the UK capital has reached crunch point.” In other words…not commercially viable. Until the economic mood music changes and rates fall, many a development in the Capital will languish - a promise yet to be fulfilled. @BloombergUK

Sadiq Khan has made it completely impossible to build anything in London. That alone would be bad enough.
But he's also put a Hamas supporter in charge of a development project worth £2.5 billion.
Does he *ever* get *anything* right?
Nabil Al-Kinani, an Iraqi refugee who works as a development manager for the Royal Docks, has shared multiple social media posts appearing to praise Hamas, a proscribed terrorist group, and to glorify the October 7 attacks.

Sadiq Khan’s Hamas supporting Development Manager admitted that he LEAKS work secrets. Honestly how is Nabil Al-Kinani still employed by @YourRoyalDocks and @MayorofLondon?

How can someone with such abhorrent views come to manage large budgets on behalf of the Mayor?
That’s the question @SadiqKhan needs to answer.

100 years ago, England embarked on one of the most successful urban expansion projects in history: the creation of Metroland, beautiful suburbs and towns, strung along the railway lines out of London. Today, @SCP_Hughes, @createstreets and I set out how we can do it again. (1/?)

Kemi is bang on.
Britain must become a nation that builds - and at a sensible cost, not block at every turn. I am running for Mayor because London must get building again.
