In the order uploaded, SC says petition Is provisionally entertained at his instance subject to he explaining his conduct. Incidentally, the Attorney General had yesterday granted consent to initiate criminal contempt against Raut for his comments against the judiciary and the CJI. During yesterday’s hearing, CJI Surya Kant had remarked that one of the petitioners must explain his conduct and that the Judges were aware of the statements being made outside and that they weren’t living in ivory towers.
