I’ve come to believe those who yell the most about ‘international law’ are the ones who understand that is, de facto, whatever the US Navy and Marine Corps allows 🤷‍♂️
This is known as “chain refoulment” and it’s a violation of both U.S. and international law.

These are the shirts allowed for the @ThornsFC fans. None of them were removed. They have chants about burning people alive. Fans assaulted multiple people wearing @xx_xyathletics shirts. None of them were removed. I am quite literally in shock.
I was just forcefully removed from a @ThornsFC game for the crime of wearing an @xx_xyathletics t-shirt. I am in shock. We peacefully wore our shirts. We were assaulted by fans. Then WE were forced to leave – with FORCE by stadium security. I am utterly in shock.

This is pure political BS and puts the country in real danger. Having said that, I’m beyond furious at Democrats for blocking Trump from refilling the SPR during Covid when gas prices were incredibly low. Dems directly impacted national security and should pay a price for it.
US authorizes emergency release of up to 400,000 oil barrels from strategic reserve, putting the SPR at the lowest level since 1982.

How many Americans actually just straight-up starve to death? In the latest data, from 2024, there were 22 cases. And not even one of them was about poverty making it unaffordable to obtain food.
How many Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck? How many are starving? The answer to both questions is--despite what you might have heard from the news media--not many. Link: cremieux.xyz/p/how-many-amer…

Communists are disgusting and are NEVER satisfied until they take everything you own. No, I’m not a billionaire but commies love taking and once begun they won’t stop

The California billionaire tax (Proposition 40) currently on the ballot is a one-time tax of 5% on the wealth of California’s roughly 250 billionaires. It would be owed by billionaires residing in California as of January 1, 2026. Because these billionaires own more than $2 trillion in wealth, it would generate around $100 billion in revenue.

I ran a pound of dried garbanzo beans through the instant pot for n hour, then added some oil, sesame seeds, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Now I’ll freeze some of these smaller jars for later!

I haven’t tried it. Seems pointless, it has other oils in it, anyway, plus corn starch.

At the cost of a sporting event, it’s something we plan and save for … I’ve been out for breakfast three times in the past 365
As an extrovert, some of these blow my mind. 26% of Americans didn’t go out for breakfast a SINGLE time in 365 days? 54% didn’t go to a sports game and 51% didn’t go to a bar/tavern even once? Even with the increase, 68% of adults didn’t attend a single concert? Are there people out there that just don’t do anything??

The government doesn’t need more money to give away to dolists; it needs to take less and let people innovate

To name just one: the 5% billionaire wealth tax introduced in Congress by Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ro Khanna. This would still be small relative to your wealth, and yet would generate more than $4.4 trillion in revenue over the next decade. That would make a real difference to the lives of the American people. Owning 1 share in @SpaceX won’t.

They don’t taste like bacon, tho 🤷‍♂️
Process…humans are so callous. Not sure if you knew this, but you can get all the nutrients we need from plants. They take a lot less water and resources to grow and a lot less land. Plus you don’t have blood on your hands from the unnecessary violence.

Annabel Richter was a 19 year old FIT student. She was fed fentanyl by a man named Moises Friere who told her it was cocaine. Friere knew what he was doing — he gave the drugs to two female students and didn’t take any himself. While Annabel was overdosing, Friere stripped off her clothes, took photos of her naked body, and then raped her instead of calling for help. Because of what he did, she is dead. There are no “I am Jane Doe” rallies for Annabel Richter. There is no daily coverage of her death on CNN. There are no New York Times investigations creating timelines of her last day. Unless you read local crime news in New York City, you will not have heard about this case. Why is Cornell’s Jane Doe of so much more interest to mainstream news than FIT’s Annabel Richter? Perhaps because news loves to create narratives about predatory white male college students and refuses to make national-news villains of men like Friere, who commit most of the actual crime in places like New York City. The NYT and CNN aren’t lying when they do 50 stories about Jane Doe and zero about Annabel Richter. They’re just exercising editorial judgment about which parts of the news you need to hear.
Man who drugged and raped dead NYC college student texted nude pics of her instead of calling 911: feds trib.al/pAEqBDj

You should have a protest for indoor plumbing
A good rule of history: if you find yourself opposing a student movement while siding with the ruling class, you're wrong. Every time, in every era, whatever the issue.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Student movements have not always been on the right side of history. Mao's student Red Guards persecuted hundreds of thousands. Students helped Castro and Khomeini rise to power, and Nazi student groups opposed the Weimar Republic. britannica.com/topic/Red-Guar… encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art… aei.org/education/actu…
