The glory days.
Ask a Burnley fan about Sean Dyche, and that's the answer you'd get. Taking over in 2012, the club were tipped for relegation from the Championship. Upon leaving, the Clarets had played in Europe. All whilst operating on the smallest budget in the biggest division in the world.
Bringing £1bn into a milltown club, revolutionary doesn't do it justice. #BurnleyFC 🟣
Burnley are LIVE on ITV1 and Sky Sports @ 5:30PM. Expecting some of the highest viewing figures for the clarets for many years! Let’s make it count 🤞 #twitterclarets
Let’s appreciate the 3 fantastic managers Burnley have been fortunate to have over the past decade 👏 #twitterclarets

To everyone close to Burnley Football Club:
I am filled with gratitude for having been a part of the Burnley FC family for 2 seasons. I am humbled by the role I was given in the rich history of this beautiful club and I am really proud of what we have achieved together, in good and bad days. To everyone at the club, from owners to players and staff: you have been amazing. And most importantly to all the fans and the entire Burnley community: I cannot thank you enough for always being there, through thick and thin. You are the solid rock this club is built on. Burnley will always be a massive part of my history. Forever in my heart, Vincent.

Stark difference in the announcements of both. Dyche deserved so much better!

We can confirm that Burnley FC has come to an agreement that will allow Vincent Kompany to leave Turf Moor.
Whilst we were initially confident in retaining our manager, the changing dynamics of the situation made this impossible.
We understand the allure and prestige of a club like Bayern Munich and respect Vincent’s ambition to explore new opportunities.
We wish only the best for Vincent and would like to put on record our appreciation for his dedication every single day he was a part of this football club.
Our priority remains the stability and success of Burnley FC, and we will continue to take the necessary steps to ensure that our ambition is realised - namely our return to the Premier League.
We have started the search for a new manager and will make an announcement in due course.
