A little behind-the-scenes action
Spreading rubber infill on a new synthetic field. 500 tons of sand and infill went into this one, and it's one of those oddly satisfying parts of the process.
Who else could watch this all day?

Rapid Fire with Michael!
We put Michael in the hot seat for a round of quick questions. No time to overthink, just whatever comes to mind!
Get to know the guy behind Bush Sports Turf a little better.

Gridiron to pitch. Sod down, geometry solved. Our crew on the ground turning an NFL stadium into a World Cup venue.

Kansas City removed 3,500 seats from Arrowhead Stadium for the World Cup.
Not for luxury boxes.
Not for a concert.
For field geometry.
FIFA needs a wider soccer pitch, so the stadium is being reworked with new turf, field systems, lighting, locker rooms, infrastructure, and seating changes.
World Cup capacity: 71,958.
Chiefs capacity: 76,416.
The kicker: the world’s biggest sports event can turn even an NFL fortress into a temporary engineering puzzle.
Hat tricks look easy when the footing is right. Proud to have built the pitch that hosted history in KC last night. Respect to every grounds crew making the World Cup possible.
