ICYMI: @Chainlink just became part of the infrastructure behind a stablecoin being distributed by Stripe, Visa, Mastercard and Coinbase. Immediately after: an ARFC was published to onboard OUSD to @aave V3 Core Instance and Aave V4 Core Hub. Open USD went live today with 200+ companies in its network and $1B+ in liquidity commitments, and @openstandard standardized on Chainlink as an official data oracle. This goes beyond simply securing the OUSD/USD price. Chainlink's infrastructure is what can help make OUSD safely usable across lending, collateral, margin, trading, AMMs and yield vaults. It's no coincidence that the Chainlink announcement and Aave's ARFC went out quasi-simultaneously. Stablecoin distribution gets OUSD onchain. Reliable data makes that liquidity programmable across DeFi. Aave is proposing markets where OUSD is supplyable and borrowable across V3 and V4, and collateralization is likely the next step. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some juicy incentives for OUSD's listing on Aave, and I'm here for it.

Most people haven't realized that CCIP 2.0 will ultimately generate more fees for @chainlink. Think about it: third-party CCVs can charge their own verification fees. That means companies building and operating CCVs aren't just providing infrastructure, they now have an economic incentive to bring more institutions and transaction flow through CCIP. CCV monetization → incentive to grow CCV adoption → more institutions/transaction flow → more CCIP usage → more CCIP base fees. CCIP 2.0 effectively creates a new group of participants that can make money as the network grows, starting with @Nethermind, @SuccinctLabs and @symbioticfi. And, importantly, gives them a reason to help it grow.
