🇦🇷Everyone told us we were crazy in Argentina A 114-year-old landmark in Recoleta, abandoned for decades, gutted to the brick, and deemed an impossible money pit by every investor who walked through the doors. Millions upon millions of dollars later, we didn't just save it—we brought it back to life. True architectural restoration isn’t for the faint of heart, but restoring history always pays off. Here’s what it looked like before the magic happened: 🧵👇
🇦🇷Crazy that we were able to purchase this entire HUGE building in Recoleta after the Corralito for $3.5 Million USD.

I will go one step further… DON’T move to LatAm unless you are making $5k a month. Living like a local is not a life hack. You can’t optimize for tax when you are making $2K per month.
🧵 Before you think about moving abroad, read this article... Living on $1,500/month in paradise isn't the life hack you think it is. You may be wasting your prime earning years chasing a cheap lifestyle, letting your work ethic atrophy, and setting yourself up to be broke at 40.

🔴 AHORA: Lula promete no poner cepo al dolar, prohibir las exportaciones ni falsificar moneda. "No soy un socialista idiota como los peronistas en Argentina", dijo.

Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

🇧🇷 Brazil is the undisputed leader of Foreign Direct Investments in Latin America. People have to keep things in perspective. Even under Lula it's not even close with FDI in Brazil vs. the rest of Latin America. Brazil is the powerhouse.

🇦🇷 Argentina’s roads are a disaster. They need to focus on getting them all repaired.

What a campaign by both sides. Good lesson for Argentina. Lula basically told Brazilians if you vote for the other side you will have Argentina. Regardless which side you are on there is a lesson there for Argentina’s Presidential election next year.

Still stick with the advice we gave Milei earlier this year: xitter.cf/BuySellBA/status/20394…

I want to see him fulfill a lot of the things he campaigned on. Get to true Libertarian principles. Get some adults in the room. Fire his sister, cut more taxes, end the CEPO to bring in foreign investments, stay away from more grifts, use common sense. Get away from all the Zionist rhetoric (focus on Argentina vs. Israel...enough with the Israel stuff), stop screaming, be more diplomatic, be more Presidential, figure out he isn't a rockstar and there is a lot of stuff to fix. Think about the micro as much as the macro economy. Cutting taxes and balancing the budget is great but foreign money isn't going to flow if they feel like he won't be here the next election. He needs to focus less on ideological purity and more on institutionalizing property rights, streamlining the process for moving capital in and out of the country (beyond just lifting the CEPO), and making it legally frictionless for foreigners to buy, sell, and develop assets. He is too obsessed with the Macro and the deficit but the daily business environment is chocking on red tape. The municipal and provincial regulations are a nightmare. He needs to wield that chainsaw at the bureaucratic level to actually free up the private sector to operate smoothly. He needs to stop yelling. Step back, calm down and realize that foreign investors are looking at him and there is not confidence there. People think that "Argentina Week" was a success. Well, many clients were there of mine. They laughed more than anything. His sister or people that can't speak English are the last person an institutional investor wants to hear from. The late-night X rants and fiery ideological speeches need to be replaced with boring, data-driven press conferences led by his economic team outlining 1, 2, 3, 5 year investment roadmaps. A good example of his fiery non-sense is China. We posted after he won how he was an idiot for all the anti-China rhetoric. Now you can see that we were right. Argentina depends on China. He has since changed his tune. That was our point from the beginning and we were right on that too. It is good to be friends with the USA and Trump but he comes off as trying too hard. Same on Israel. He tries too hard with people that are already supporting him and needlessly picking fights with major trading partners. Insulting the leaders of Brazil, China, Spain, or Colombia might play great to his base on X, but it is a massive red flag for multinational companies. You cannot rebuild a broken economy by antagonizing the countries that actually buy your exports. He needs to stop treating people like a # on a spreadsheet and more like Citizens in a country that he claims to love. He serves at the mercy of the people of Argentina. The micro-economy is getting gutted. Running a country isn't just putting an Excel spreadsheet together. He has lifted price controls too quickly. Yes subsidies need to end but you have to know when it's too fast too soon. Wages have become stagnant and not keeping up with true inflation. If that continues he will definitely lose. No President survives that. The middle class is getting murdered and he doesn't seem to care. Small businesses are getting blown up. FDI is going to take time to get here. That takes years and years. He and Caputo over promise and under deliver. They just look like morons saying inflation is going to be 10% for 2026. That was NEVER possible and just looks stupid throwing out numbers like that. Just stop over promising. He just frustrates locals and also potential foreign investors. Foreign capital is waiting on the sidelines. Forget about all these pledged RIGI. That doesn't happen suddenly and they are waiting and watching. We have posted for months and months what would happen and it's pretty much playing out as we forecasted. People are getting tired of him. Look at his approval ratings. I could go on and on but this is probably a good start?

Why you have to stay heads down and focused on things. Can't get cocky and get distracted. Milei needs to refocus his efforts over the next year and focus on Argentina and Argentina only.

🇦🇷 🏦 ☠️Argentina Bank ADR's As mentioned a while back. There is nothing to be bullish about with Argentine banking stocks. Brazil's election results will cause these banks to tank even harder .
🇦🇷🩸Argentina is world-famous for exporting premium beef, excellent Malbec, and consecutive straight red candles on brokerage statements for Argentina ADR's.
