“The Great Accountant in the Sky” (A story for anyone who’s ever trusted the wrong bookkeeper) Once upon a time, mankind decided that since God seemed rather busy keeping the stars in orbit, they’d go ahead and invent their own way to manage money. They called it “trust.” Which, as it turns out, was their first and biggest mistake. For centuries, men in fancy suits and silk robes promised that if everyone just handed over their gold, silver, labor, and peace of mind, they’d “take good care of it.” They’d “balance the books.” They’d “make sure it’s all fair.” And to prove it, they invented something called “fractional reserve banking”— a fancy phrase meaning: “We’ll lend ten dollars for every one we actually have, and pray you don’t all ask for it back at once.” Now, the Great Law Book - the real one, not the one edited by attorneys - gave thirty clear instructions never to trust man over God. Jeremiah 17:5 said it plain: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man.” Psalms 118:8 reminded us: “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.” But mankind, being the slow learner in this cosmic classroom, still decided, “Maybe this time it’ll be different.” Spoiler: it wasn’t. The Parable of the Crooked Calculator One day, a humble farmer brought his life’s savings to the local banker. The banker smiled, took the money, and gave the farmer a receipt - a piece of paper, nothing more. The farmer left feeling secure. But behind the counter, the banker winked at his assistant and said, “Write down that we have ten farmers’ worth of deposits. Nobody will notice.” And for a while, nobody did. Then, one fine morning, someone discovered math. And not just any math - God’s math. See, in God’s math, 1 always equals 1. It doesn’t equal 0.97 because of “adjustments.” It doesn’t equal 10 because of “leverage.” And it certainly doesn’t vanish into a Cayman Island’s “off-book special purpose vehicle.” God’s math is perfect, verifiable, incorruptible, and available 24/7. You can’t bribe it, lobby it, or buy it a steak dinner. In other words, math is God’s accountant. The Revelation of Perfect Accounting Now imagine if the nations of the world finally got this divine memo. Imagine if every government ledger were open to the people, visible in real time, reconciling every transaction - like Heaven’s own Excel sheet, but with zero corruption, no missing cells, and a perfect audit trail. Every tax dollar tracked. Every loan verifiable. Every promise kept - or proven false - in the light of pure arithmetic truth. A system like that doesn’t need trust in men. It only needs truth in math. Because math doesn’t get tired, greedy, or tempted. It doesn’t run for office. It doesn’t have a campaign donor list - it only has proofs. Such a system - transparent, immutable, self-reconciling - isn’t science fiction anymore. It’s the next logical step in the divine evolution of stewardship: a mathematically perfect, continuously reconciled, fully transparent accounting of all monetary value on Earth. This is not just good governance. This is alignment - with the very principle of divine order itself. The Moral of the Story When we place trust in men, we get inflation, corruption, and confusion. When we place trust in God’s laws - the same ones that balance galaxies and atoms - we get peace, balance, and truth. As the Psalmist said: “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken.” And if God is the author of math, then trusting math - when used in truth - is simply trusting God’s order at work in creation.
