Please download the NHS Covid-19 app. It will make a real difference if enough of us use it. Privacy issues dealt with as you control data. Easy check in to venues, test ordering & tracing who you’ve been in contact with if needed. All #Leeds venues will be using NHS QR codes.

Please do not leave any items outside charity shops or household waste recycling sites - this is classed as fly-tipping. Store furniture, wood and metals at home. As soon we are able to safely reopen the sites and restart bulky item collections we will #StayHome

All car parks at Leeds parks are being closed - some with barriers, others may just have notices - but please be safe as government advice is you should not be travelling to exercise.

We held a planning session in January to explore ideas for a #ZeroWasteFashion event that we could host later this year. We've done some thinking, and met with a few people to explore ideas. But we need your thoughts! Could you help? Updates here - ow.ly/DPuj50yd1dA

Good question! As far as we understand, charity shops can sell rags to be recycled. The @CharityRetail website suggests that you label the bag of donations as ‘for rag’ to ease the sorting process. More info here - charityretail.org.uk/donatin…. Does anyone have any more insights?

We have started adding more to our Zero Waste Fashion in Leeds map - ow.ly/W5I650xNS52. Please let us know of any clothes repair shops, sewing workshops or exchanges near you!

Whilst out and about doing your Christmas shopping, did you know you can take your empty coffee cups to any city-centre branch of Caffè Nero, Costa, McDonald's, Pret or Starbucks to be recycled or put them in the orange coffee cup bins across the city centre #LeedsbyExample
