Do not blame the French people for this.
We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no.
Here are the numbers your media won't show you.
70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today.
79% want a tougher immigration policy.
77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration.
83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home.
And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years.
This is not a fringe. This is the French people.
In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.
That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.
So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.

What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. Governor Maura Healey is asking the federal administration to speed more natural gas into the state.
On Thursday she wrote Energy Secretary Chris Wright asking federal agencies to move faster on permits for Enbridge’s Project RARE, an upgrade of the existing Algonquin pipeline. Her office says it would serve about 600,000 gas customers, cut bills by about $40 million a year, and be paid for by the developer. The target in service date is 2028. The gas is locked in on 10 year deals that start in 2029.
The state still has a legally binding net zero by 2050 law. Those targets assume natural gas use goes down, not up. She has not proposed changing that law.
Same question on the Clean Heat Standard. That rule would make natural gas, oil, and propane suppliers install heat pumps or other clean heat, or pay the state. It was supposed to start in January 2026. MassDEP, under Healey, pushed the phase in to no earlier than January 1, 2028, after this election. Her office said the delay was to study affordability and keep costs down. It was a postponement, not a repeal.
More gas by 2028. A heating mandate the same year. The net zero law still sitting there.
What is she actually going to unwind?

One month before Election Day. She did not suddenly care about our electric bills. She suddenly cared about losing her job.

Thursday, someone shattered a window at my law office while one of my employees was inside. This is what cheap slogans and partisan politics produce. I am angry about it, and you should be too.
For months I have been defined by labels meant to provoke anger rather than describe who I am or what I believe. Partisan activists repeat those slogans without scrutiny, and in this case someone acted on them. They have no interest in spending even ten minutes learning what I stand for. If they did, they would see that I am not the caricature being cast against me. Instead, my children have been harassed, and my staff has now been put in danger.
This is the result of uninformed partisan politics and one-party rule in Massachusetts. It shows up everywhere, from canceled debates to an absence from the state you were elected to represent. It is a blanket mindset.
We have to move past labels and judge the person by the policy. We need your support now more than ever to end this. Stand with me.

I am 55 years old. I live in CT USA. I never saw anything like this until about 3 years ago. I am an astute student of meteorology and reading the sky.
