I’m still a long-term $TSLA bull. I think FSD, Robotaxi, Optimus and Energy could make Tesla worth multiples of where it is today. But I also think Elon made the last 5 years unnecessarily painful for shareholders. The problem wasn’t the destination. It was the path. 🧵

This is what I keep coming back to: $TSLA never had to choose between cars and AI. The logical path was: Scale auto aggressively expand Energy build FSD build Robotaxi build Optimus Tesla had the capital, brand and talent to pursue BOTH paths.

Elon may still be right. FSD could work. Robotaxi could be enormous. Optimus could become Tesla’s biggest business. Tesla could still be worth multiples of today. But shareholders shouldn’t have needed this much pain. The destination may be right. The path wasn’t.
