Those who know me know my deep respect for our Ex-Servicemen and the sacrifices they have made for this nation. My respect for the Armed Forces is unquestionable. However, respect should never come at the cost of logic, fairness, and facts. Despite being a staunch RSS worker since birth, I joined Gen. Satbir Singh and his team in the OROP movement. Many ex-servicemen know me personally. I have immense respect for you, Sir, and could name many others whose blessings I have always received. My humble but firm message to a General Saab, Sir, I have met you personally and hold you in high regard. That is precisely why I feel compelled to say this, please do not reduce yourself to the level of an attention-seeking Major who claims to be a Kargil warrior despite not being one. Har jagah attention nahi seek karni chahiye. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Ankita Sharma did. She is a decorated IPS officer who has served in Dantewada, a region that has witnessed some of the toughest internal security challenges in the country. To argue that her conduct becomes questionable simply because she was wearing a saree is not just bizarre, it is fundamentally illogical. The occasion was Dussehra and Shastra Puja. She did nothing wrong. There was no violation of safety protocol evident in the video, and she is a trained police officer who understands her responsibilities and knows how to handle such situations. Our country respects its Ex-Servicemen, and rightly so. But that respect must coexist with reason and objectivity. Seeking attention by commenting on everything and anything does not suit someone of your stature and experience. I stand firmly in support of Ankita Sharma. Respect for the uniform, whether worn by a soldier or a police officer, must be accompanied by fairness in judgment. Our Armed Forces veterans deserve our highest regard, but public discourse must be guided by facts, not insinuations, selective outrage, or the pursuit of attention. Despite intense Western pressure, we conducted nuclear tests. Despite international sanctions, our economy continued to perform well. The “India Shining” campaign looked strong enough that we even advanced the elections by six months, hoping for a clean sweep. But what happened? We lost. In 2009, Lal Krishna Advani, arguably the strongest Hindu leader of that era, was projected as the Prime Ministerial candidate. The issues of black money and Swiss bank accounts had gained enormous traction, yet we still ended up on the losing side. On both occasions, nobody questioned the Election Commission or EVMs. They were perfectly acceptable when the results went in our favour and when they didn’t, we accepted the verdict. Come to 2014. In 2014, when Narendra Modi got a full majority, the Election Commission was yours, the paramilitary forces were yours, the police were yours, the judiciary was tilted towards you, and the bureaucracy was yours. Mind it, in 2002 roit cases Modi got a clean chit from the SIT monitored by the Supreme Court under Congress rule. I request sensible people there may be many illiterate, anti-Hindu, atheists and “liberals” supporting these massage parlour, beauty parlour and call centre employees of CJP to think seriously. It is high time to unfriend them right now. They are becoming a threat to democratic institutions. If an Hindu does something wrong, there will be thousands of Hindus who will say he is wrong. Every Hindu celebrated the execution of the Nirbhaya rapists. Every Hindu celebrated the encounter of Vikas Dubey. Nobody held candle marches like they did for Yakub Memon or Afzal Guru. That’s the beauty of our religion. But if an Muslim does something wrong, particularly terrorism, which is the part and parcel of their education, there will be a whole ecosystem of Muslims trying to give it a twist or create theories around it. – at Chandigarh, India
