With the end of the year now upon us, we are going to do our best at the CABC to keep you company throughout the cold winter months as we await spring training again next year.
Over the course of the winter months, we are going to try and do a handful of podcast episodes as well as some player/coach interest stories that will hopefully fill the void for some baseball over the winter months.
I am currently going to put together the final national top 10 rankings of the year as well, which will encompass a number of things, including, but not limited to: regular season record, provincial tournament results and provincial playoff results. Results from the Canadian men’s baseball tournament will be considered, but not waited heavily as a lot of teams don’t attend or have pick ups on their roster.
Another thing I’m gonna have a little bit of fun with this year is starting to look at players across the country who had big seasons at different positions. We will scour through some of the final statistics from each league to pick up and look at some players who had some big numbers throughout the course of the summer.
Also, don’t forget that we have our CABC clothing store that is currently open right now. We have a wide range of clothing from hoodies, T-shirts, short sleeve hoodies, shorts, baseball hats, tools, and we also have our pink and blue specialty collection of tubes and hoodies with a part of the proceeds from those going towards the Canadian cancer Society as a donation from our organization. The link to the store is: inkt.co/canadian_amateur_bas…
So, lots of things hopefully that are gonna be able to keep people entertained over the next few months while we await the cold winter ahead of us and get back into spring training around March and April. Thanks as always for the support.

After being ousted from the playoffs in 2025 by Halifax, the Dartmouth Dry were on a mission in 2026 to get back to the top of the mountain in the Nova Scotia Sr Baseball League. This past Friday was mission accomplished as the Dry captured their 25th league championship in team history with a 4 - 2 win in their Best of 7 series against the Kentville Wildcats.

The Charlottetown Islanders captured their 4th straight New Brunswick Senior Baseball League title a few weeks ago as they defeated the Chatham Ironmen 4 - 1 in the Best of 7 Championship final.
If they can pull the feat next year, they would tie the NB League record with the 2006 - 2010 Fredericton Royals and 1985 - 1989 Moncton Mets with five straight titles.

With the close of the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League final a few days ago, so ends our coverage for the 2026 Men's AAA Baseball Season. It was quite a ride this summer. As I look back on where the CABC started in 2022 with some basic coverage of playoff games from the East Coast, it has certainly ballooned into something not even I thought this would have gotten to now.
Looking at some of the stats from our webpage as well as our social media accounts from this past summer it has been pretty eye opening:
*23 weeks of coverage this summer - 11 leagues across 7 provinces plus major provincial tournaments in Newfoundland, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. We also had coverage at the Western Canadians in Saskatoon, SK as well as the Canadian Championships in Miramichi, NB
*Over 92,000 hits on our CABC webpage through our extensive coverage which saw us post 58 articles about tournaments, playoffs and personal player accomplishments.
*Our social media accounts were extremely busy this summer as well. All stats for each of them are from April 1st - October 11th:
-Facebook: 999,500+ Views, 54,000+ Engagements, 1,954 Followers (453 New Followers)
-X: 514,000+ Impressions, 6,000+ Engagements, 2,100+ Likes, 2,000 Followers
-Instagram: 270,000+ Views, 464 New Followers (IG was a new account in 2026)
Totals on all Platforms
-1,800,000 Views, 60,000+ Engagements, 4,500+ Followers
*We produced 11 episodes of our podcast again this season bringing us to 22 episodes over two seasons. A huge thank you to Scott Squires and Firm Foundation Media for their help with the producing and editing of the podcast again this year.
*Our livestream was also busy again this year as well. We covered games here in Ontario at the Gold Bat Baseball Tournament, Ontario National Qualifier Tournament and a handful of regular season games as well. We also covered games in Quebec and New Brunswick as well with plans to try and expand that next summer.
With all of that said, a lot of our success this summer would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors from this season. They went above and beyond to help support the site and CABC Baseball brand and I am grateful to each of them for that. I want to give a huge thank you for the following companies and teams:
*Firm Foundation Media Group
*Field of Dreams Baseball Camps
*Benny's Sportswear
*InkT Baseball Clothing & Equipment
*KSports Streaming Service
*Charlottetown Islanders Baseball Team
*Moncton Mets Baseball Team
*Chatham Ironmen Baseball Team
*Fredericton Royals Baseball Team
*Etobicoke Rangers Baseball Team
*Newmarket Hawks Baseball Team
*Marysburg Royals Baseball Team
*Regina Trappers Baseball Team
I am eternally grateful for your support of Men's AAA Baseball coverage here in Canada and hope to see you all back on board in 2027. That being said, we will be looking for support again for the 2027 season and will post about this later in the spring next season before the start of the year. If you have a small business or are a team wishing to contribute, please reach out to me for details.
I would like to take an opportunity to thank the over 75 teams that we covered this summer as well. I am sure I annoyed you at some point this summer about a score or winning or losing pitcher lol. I thank you all for buying into what I am trying to accomplish and I really hope that you all enjoy the coverage each summer.
I would also like to thank the folks at the Canadian Baseball Network for picking up some of my work this summer. I appreciate you all helping me get the word out about Men's AAA Baseball in Canada.
Finally, I would like to thank all of the fans across the country who read the content, follow the website, follow us on our social media accounts and make this worth all of the time it takes to put together all of the content. You are all greatly appreciated and I thank you all of the kind messages and calls throughout the summer months. You are all appreciated more than you know.
There is still a little bit of work to be done to wrap up the summer seasons for this year. I am going to be posting a few articles about the leagues that just finished up over the past few weeks in Quebec and on the East Coast. As promised, I am also going to wrap up the season with one final edition of the National Top 10 Rankings and there are a few other things I'm working on which I will keep a surprise but hoping to keep the site a little more active this off season to keep everyone engaged as we all wait for spring training 🙂
Also, incase you missed our previous announcement, our CABC Clothing store is going to be open for the next six weeks if you would like to pick up some great CABC Baseball gear. In the post below, you will see the items that are available. New this season - we have released our speciality pink and baby blue hoodies and toques to help support cancer research here in Canada.
For each piece of pink and blue clothing that is sold, the CABC will donate $5/piece of clothing to the Canadian Cancer society. we will also be making a $100.00 donation from the CABC as well to get things started. Store closes on November 30th and then items will be shipped out to everyone. Shipping is available across Canada. Here is the link to the store:

Saying thank you doesn't seem like enough. You have all become a small family throughout the summer months and I enjoy engaging with all of you about the game. The conversations, the call and texts and the overall love of the game mean a lot and I am glad I have the time to offer and outlet for all of that. I appreciate each and everyone of you. ❤️
Before you know it, we will be back into looking at rosters for the 2027 season. Take care and be well!! 👊⚾

p.m.
A quick recap from Wednesday night's @KWildcats22 win in Game 4 is online at saltwire.com/nova-scotia/ann… .
Apologies as I have been down and out with a cold over the past week and a bit. I am starting to feel a bit better now and I have caught up the website over the past little bit.
Congrats to the Charlottetown Islanders who captured their 4th straight New Brunswick Sr Baseball League Championship as they defeated the reigning National Champion Chatham Ironmen 4 - 1 in the Best of 7 Championship Final.
Meanwhile, in the Ligue de Baseball Majeur du Quebec, the Cactus de Victoriaville caught fire at the right time of the season as they defeated the defending league champion Castors d'Acton Vale 4 - 0 in their Best of 7 Championship Final
The only Men's AAA Baseball left running in the country in down east as the Nova Scotia Sr Baseball League Championship Final is currently running as the Kentville Wildcats avoided elimination tonight with a 7 - 6 extra innings win over the Dartmouth Dry. The Dry still lead the Best of 7 Final by a count of 3 - 1 and can wrap things up tomorrow night at Beazley Field.
There will be article about each of these league finals in the near future as well as a season ending National Top 10 rankings that will be released once all of the playoff series are completed.
In case you missed it earlier today, we have also released our 2026 CABC Baseball Online Clothing Store. Over the next 7 weeks, this is your opportunity to grab some great CABC Baseball gear including out brand new speciality series of pink and baby blue clothing.
$5 from the sale of each piece of our cancer month clothing will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society including a $100 donation from the CABC to start things off. Here is the link to the store which closes on November 30th: inkt.co/canadian_amateur_bas…
Items will be shipped out following the November 30th closing date. Ordering as a team and shipping to one location will help save on shipping costs as well. Thank you in advance for supporting the CABC Baseball Group and Cancer research here in Canada!!
